Ok, here are a set of stats (I hope) of how many extensions give you how many towers.
0 extensions ~ 4 towers
1 extensions ~ 6 towers
2 extensions ~ 7 towers
3 extensions ~ 8 towers
4 extensions ~ 9 towers
5 extensions ~ 10 towers
6 extensions ~ 13 towers
13 extensions ~16 towers
If anybody could add to this list, that would be great.

Each extension adds one extra tower. Your information is incorrect - it sounds completely made up to me.
I am not sure exactly how many extensions there are but you end up with 20 towers. I'm sure someone can find the correct number based on that.

Well each extension and the number of towers can just be random.
Wrong. Completely wrong. You GAIN A SINGLE TOWER EACH TIME YOU GET AN EXTENSION.
It's not complicated. It's not illogical. It's very simple: +1 extension = +1 tower.
NOTHING is random. NOTHING is an exception. You get 1 tower every time you get 1 extension.

What is an "extention" here?
Okay - posted that and a few seconds later it hit me - expanding the castle walls.
Not sure what the concern is - you definitely want to get the bad boy maxxed-out on size and filled with Farmhouses and Public Order stuff, level 5 Barracks and your other assorted goodies, as well as finishing all the towers for defense.

If you're going to post something, people are going to believe it, especially when it's in somewhere called "Tips + Tricks". I just hate it when people make something up and claim it's "a good tip" or even "true".
I very rarely feel emotions when I'm writing a post. I'm not trying to SHOUT at you - I'm just trying to emphasize my point. I was just trying to make my message clear, because some people, quite frankly, seem too stupid to get it.
