in research tower what is the use of forced march?..whether it will increase the speed of march during attacking or it will increase the speed of the soldiers returning to the castle after the battle

I guess it increases the traveling speed of your troops when you transfer them from 1 of your castles to another 1 (Stationing troops)
Am not sure tho...

It increases the speed in which your own soldiers travel to your own outposts or villages

I didn't know that. I wish that was clear in the description or else I wouldn't have asked my alliance for resources when I first unlocked the research tower....

Just a question with the research tower, I'm a little confused. If I level up to 47 and do level 2 research tower do I have to do all the level 1 tasks first? Or can I just get the vet troops then without doing all the level 1 tasks?

Hope this makes sense, I'm a little tired lol

The veteran troops can be obtained from research tower level 1.

All tasks have requirements. Forced march (level 1) has the requirement of research tower level 1. Plundering log has the following requirements: level 1 research tower, maneuver (level 3?) and workbench (level 3?). Elite training has the requirements of level 2 research tower, level 3(?) of everything up to plundering log, plus the unlocking all 4 veterans.

So basically, everything varies. To complete level 2 research, you'll need to complete some level 1 research, but not all of it (and the bits required vary for which level 2 research you want to do). When you build the research tower, there will be clear, easy-to-follow paths that show exactly what is required for what.

To get veterans, you need: maneuver, workbench and plundering log level 3 (and a level 1 research tower). You must also unlock vet. spearmen before bowmen, and macemen before crossbowmen.

The best things about getting the research tower is the new soldiers, extra coins/food and the extra spies and guards. There are many good things aswell, like getting more market barrow space (though later levels need rubies) and the elite training, which helps alot if you want a quick strike on someone. The Forced March is actually alright, most people have quite far away villages so the quicker speed will help alot when supporting them against someone
