Topic: [90483] BEST Decorations for Public Order

[-90483] FussBug [None] :: May 17, 2013, 8:55 a.m.
I have not unlocked the Park yet, so I do not know what the numbers look like for that building. However, I assume that people build them because they have the best PO per grid square since, in the end, the biggest constraint is space.

In the meantime, does anyone have any advice on what decorations to build as I advance in level? Should I always build the most recently unlocked decoration? At the moment, I am skipping Gallows and Market Stalls because they are more expensive than Market Barrows on a per PO basis and provide only marginally more PO per grid square. Anyone else have any tips or advice?

build lots of hero staues until u get the park which has 104 PO but if ur a ruby player get the last 2 decorations they r the best (other than the collosus)

A Hero Statue costs more stone and wood than a Market Barrow, and it has a much lower increase in PO. It is worse than a Market Barrow by every metric. Better to stick with building Flagpoles or to wait until Market Barrows.

If you're close to unlocking parks, I'd just skip building new decorations until you can build parks. However, this advice might not be the best, because in an update next week, another decoration (better than the park) will come out, and I'm not really sure when you unlock that and what PO it has.

But generally, build decorations that you recently unlocked, unless you have plenty of space in your castle (in which case the first decorations are very cheap and very quick to build).

Thanks for the advice. Found a really good thread here that gives statistics on all of the decorations. It's a really great guide for figuring out what to build and what quests/events to pursue. It also gives the formula for calculating the percentage that resource production will increase for a given public order.
