Ok so firstly, lots of credit goes to Raquarious for establishing this list. Raq hasn't been on the forum for a year though and it needs updating /simplifying.

Key:
PO/Space = Public Order and space values for each item.
POPS = Public Order Per Square. The higher the better.
Type = How the decoration can be obtained; by resources, rubies, quest or event.
Cost = How much you pay for each PO point. Rubies or Resource
PO/Space|POPS |Name |Type |Cost Per PO

FYI, Colossus statues vary between 1 and infinity(ish) so have been omitted.

How to Calculate PO% for your castle
1) Decoration+Protection-Population-Unrest="X"
2) Square Root X, Times the answer by 2 and add 100.
3) Use a minus symbol after calcuation it X is negative.

I.e: ±(2*√X)+100

If i've missed anything or needs correcting, please let me know :)

Quite useful

Thanks for making this - I used the thread you linked to quite a bit and this is even better. :)

Does anyone know how much space the colossus statues occupy?

Same as a park.

Thanks :) I used to use it a lot when helping out other but it did need improvement.

And yup: Colossus deco's are 5*10 for space.

You're welcome :) I'll try and keep it up to date and answer any questions as and when they pop up.

Hey sumfic, there is a new decorative item! Kings Sword it is called and if you buy rubies in your first day of GGE (or something like that) you get it. 39 PO, i will find out the space soon.

I think it is about 7 - 9space

Cheers! Added :)

Eh..... now I remember that I did not do so well in math. My hats off to the person who spent the time and effort to make the list but I do not know how useful this kind of thing is personally. Sorry but I can only appreciate it for the time and effort it took to do it, not for what it is actually for....

Most of the reason behind this is that castles face a lot of "space management" in order to get public order as high as possible. With high PO, you get more stone, food, wood being produced and makes life a lot easier.

- If you want a castle full of ornamental trees, you could have 100 of them and only make 700 points off of 400 tiles.
- If you want a castle full of sundials, you could have 25 of them and make 750 points off of 400 tiles.

Theater's are cheaper to build per PO point and produce more PO per square. That is displayed from the tables that Raq and myself have provided.

With people planning to fill their space with the best PO, this guide can be used to help plan what to build so people aren't destroying ruby items because a new resource item has come along which actually works out to be better. Thus, saving rubies, resources and construction time. :)

Question: How did you figure out that formula?

[1563953] sucmfic [None] :: June 7, 2013, 1:22 p.m.
A lot of people use √(4*X)+100 but (2*√X)+100 was the original solution posted in the forums back in the dark ages and it works perfectly for me.

Like most mathematical problems, it was done through trial and error. GGE don't like to give away all the games mechanics but its not too hard to work out. :)

Impressive. Quite useful too.

Hi Sucmfic. One more addition to the list.
Ruins will be deducted from your decoration and doesn't count under unrest. An amount of 10 points is deducted from the total decoration.

Lovely....

Interesting formulae. But I do not understand the terms Protection, Population and Unrest. If population is number of people we may get an X-value < 0 and that would not be OK. So please explain these 3 terms.

Protection is gained by towers. The more towers and higher level the higher protection you have.

Population is the number of people you have from dwellings and townhouses, not other buildings.

Unrest is when your buildings are on fire. or plagued.
