Hi guys!
UPDATE: 30th may 2013 (English version)
To help you in fight optimisation versus NPC this is:
Fight Simulator
How does it work?
It's easy, you can only write in grey cells.
The first sheet is the simulator.
There is one sheet for colossus's events.
The two next sheets enable you to optimize your production.
If you need further information do not hesitate to contact me.
Last but not least, the final sheet is very helpful to calculate loots.
IMPORTANT:
At least one attacker is needed if not "#DIV/0!" appears.
Put one peasant whenever you don't attack a section in each wave (by default).
Vocabulary:
Full = wave only composed by one type of units (melee or distance)
Mix = wave composed by melee and distance attackers.
The best attacks are "fulls".
In defense the 50/50 mix is highly recommended furthermore in case of absence.
In defense I recommend you to place your troops in 50/0/50 or 100/0/0
(cf [TUTO] Fights!)

1°) Troops:
Write/Enter soldiers' number of each type in attack (red) and in defense (blue),
on each section (left flank, right or center)
and for each wave (max = 4).
Do not forget to enter courtyard's defenders in the appropriate column on the sheet's bottom.
yellow triangle => defenders
red square => melee's attackers
green circle => distance's attackers
2°) Bonuses :
*Write melee's and distance's bonuses.
(ex: +10% melee => put "10" in front of "Mele Bonus")
Bonus for/against walls, moats and gate are to be directly added to siege weapons.
3°) Siege weapons:
Write the bonus brought against walls and moats together.
(ex: -10% moats -15% walls and 2 ladders => put "45" in front of "Ladders")
Yes you have to use your brain for some maths ;-)
How to read?
* Under each section "Left Flank Wave 1" the winner is indicated:
blue = defender
red = attacker
* Below each wave, losses's total gold cost for each opponent is calculated.
* Below each section, attack's melee % is indicated (0-100%)
and mostly the full to send against defenders.
"Full?" is the full to send in attack:
If yellow triangle => Melee Full recommended
red square => Melee Full highly recommended
green circle => Distance Full highly recommended
Tips:
* To avoid waves' fillings against no walls' defenders, it's possible to directly write court's attackers (colonne "Att extra")
* Eliminate peasant's excess in court by remove default survivors if it hasn't been done before.
* Do not forget to indicate the number of sections (left/right flank, midle) taken by attackers to be sure to have the right bonus in courtyard.
Remark:
Differences should be notice between simulation and fight's report due to round down.
I have chosen 3 numerals after the point based on an amount of reports against NPC.

The Colossus Calculator is very spot on. Great job on making such a great spreadsheet and making it available to others. Thank you very much for this. By any chance, is there, or will there be, an English version of this spreadsheet? I'm not sure what all the columns mean in the main sheet nor in the pillage sheet and my French translator leaves something to be desired.

I can't seem to expand the page to see the full workbook. It's stuck in a small window with no way to expand it. Strange....
