what is look & where can you buy or aqcuire it? what does it do? am i completely missing something?

This get answered every single day multiple times:
The look items are a special type of equipment that make the soldiers change their "look" in the map or the way they are displayed, they do not provide any tactical advantage.
You can only get it in special events. Once they gave it as reward in the tournament and for attacking a special castle in April's fools day.
