So after not being allowed to advertise the guide for a profit I have reimbursed those who purchased it off me and re-released it for free. I am also asking for donations, however, only donate what you feel it is worth and if it has helped you and added value to your game or even saved you money.... so without further ado....

I cant believe that you thought you could actually charge money for that!? People already are at a great disadvantage if they dont buy rubies, and a few searches on the forum and asking the right people will bring most of this information to light anyway.

Vishal Verma?
If this isn't you, I would like everyone to recognize he was charging money for copy and pasted material from the Chakravyuh blog.
If it IS you, nice job. I appreciate the work.

Lol Vishal Verma? who the hell is that. I'd appreciate being able to see the blog so I can ask them to remove it. I am the original author of both parts of the guides and people copy and paste my work without reference all over the place.
At to Gjhero that seems to be a rather large contradiction. Firstly I'd dispute you would be able to find any of that information especially the 6 pages after the looting cycles, if you knew that it costs 1.29m coins on average to max out a legendary item but only 210k an epic one then fair enough, and if you knew it costs an alliance 710k to max out support speed then fair enough. All the information I posted there is new analysis. Apart from arguably the sand towers I am fairly sure that very very few players use those tower set-ups. As to the rest I have never seen any posts even vaguely on this topic.
On the topic of charging money, knowledge in Empire is power and people that spend literally thousands of dollars on this game of which there are many by spending 3$ could get a lot more bang from their buck from reading my guides. Thats what £2?... And these people that buy huge amount of rubies often use them unwisely and have no idea what they are actually spending it on. Not always, but hopefully after reading this, I have changed people's spending habits.

I hope you forgive my annoyance but moreover I hope you annoy it since your friend apparently has illegally copied my work, and then people come onto my thread and tell me I stole it...

Thank you. I would say the second half of the guide is more unique and interesting anyways so definitely have a look at it

Its still copyright infringement. You clearly understand nothing about copyright infringement so I would ask you to at least do the token google/wikipedia before you claim to understand IP law. Many things are free on the Internet but everything is just as protected online as offline, free or not free.
This is also in reference to the first section of my guide which has always been completely free and was written in December, so the whole selling it anymore comment is again totally invalid.

I never claimed to understand anything. Why do you care so much anyway? If he was publishing your second part for free and you were still charging money for it then I could understand. Take it as a compliment that he's spreading your work around! It's a testament to how good it is!

I believe the point Humpers is trying to make is that his guide has been used without his permission. It doesn't matter if hes been credited or not. Just because it is online does not mean it is free for anyone to copy to their own website. Why should he spend his time writing it just for someone to use it elsewhere for thier own website?
Regards
Ethan

He is not charging money for that material. Its just written Protected by copy scape, do not copy. So if the "whole blog has to be copied he wants this to be done with his permission .
And malreyn sure you have a point

Why shouldnt they be allowed to use it? He should be honored that they are using it, if that were to happen to me then i would be fine with it as long as they credited me.
