So here is my problem. I started playing last night, everything was going fine until I completed the traveling knight quest. With the addition of those soldiers my food production went to -250/hour. I am furiously working on bakery and farmhouses, but I do not think it will be enough.

I will be out of food before I can get my production up enough to cover the cost of the soldiers. Is there a way to dismiss some? I would hate to throw them away for nothing, but better that than running out of food. At least I assume so.

send your other troops on missions the will loose.

send them on an attack that u will win but will hav heavy loses that way u gain but loose

Hit massive amounts of RBC to get food. Send out as many attacks on those low level ones that you have commanders. It will fill up your coffers and keep them feed until you can build up your farms. Choose the 8 closest to you and hit them right after each other so they level at the same time and you can keep using the same set up on them all.
