Some players have trouble with attacking and because they didn't do their espionage and watching.
Not anymore.
Tricks to winning EASY battles:
If defenders are Melee, just attack with Ranged. If defenders are Ranged, just attack with Melee.
Recommended for defenders:
Use Archers, Vets (especially Veteran Swordsmen), Halberdiers, and Longbowmen. Spearmen and Bowmen aren't great defenders. Use them as a last resort.
Recommended for attackers:
Use Vets (especially Veteran Swordmen), Heavy Crossbowmen, Two-Handed Sword, and Horrors. Macemen and Crossbowmen aren't great attackers. Use them as a last resort.

No problemo. Lets just give a few tips to the newbies, huh?
If you want to win battles quickly and easily, always use tools and make your equipment as good as possible! The better stats for the equipment the easier it is to win battles. Always focus on the melee/ranged stats on equipment. Most of the others is useless unless you want to make a commander for looting etc.

Don't forget:
NEVER USE SPEARMEN OR BOWMEN FOR ATTACK. I have seen many players do this, and it WEAKENS you.
Multiple wave attack strategy:
Wave 1- Strong. Use your strong troops and tons of tools.
Wave 2- Medium strength. Use your medium troops and a medium amount of tools.
Wave 3- Not as strong. Use it as a last resort and use some tools and troops like Macemen.

Well, they are a.) not as good as veteran spearmen in defence and b.) not as good as veteran macemen in attack. Since they are not ranged, you cannot kill many soldiers with only veteran swordsmen.
Also, it is possible to blindly attack. If you decide to do so, send max tools (preferrably armorer tools) and half/half melee/ranged with a good commander on all flanks. Send a full attack.

Do NOT use vet swords to attack if you have any of the following: 2h, vet mace, kingsguard, horrors etc... They are all better. 103 attack str for melee is very low

I think we should have both of veteran spearmen and maceman but the only problem is food, for pro this isnt a problem but for level 25 and below, this can take alot of your food away
And we probably shouldn't use swordman for attack because somehow they die

Actually, its the opposite way around, use the weak troops first to get rid of the enemy's tools, then strong or if you have three, 1 = very weak= use this as this = since melee is great at defending at ranged, use ranged (crossbowman, bowman, etc.)Barnacleez wrote: »Don't forget:

2= medium ( go for melee for melee and ranged for ranged)
3 = Powerful (two handed sword veteran crossbowman and veteran maceman for this or heavy crossbowman)
That is probably how some people win
