Okay now that i am much more experienced i am going to try this again. OK Here is my tip, First if you are in an intermap alliance (players all over the map, not all concentrated in one spot) take an outpost close to a group of teammates who are a reasonable distance from you. (100-400) miles then when you are a higher leveled estate take on that is close to you (0-100) miles away. The third one can be anywhere you want it to be. just make sure it is close to a teammate. Here is a bonus tip. Take built up outposts from ruins. if you sre lucky you can take two of their outposts and have a huge boost to your strength. Also, only take food outposts. Wood or Stone primary outposts are useless, some alliances have even banned members from taking them.

I don't advise having outposts too far away. It must take centuries to get a sufficient amount of resources to them.

Well, as he said, make sure they are close to alliance members, so that they can help you out.

Use horses and have a little patience.

Really, I prefer to have them close, but that's just my opinion.

I do not understand how to make equipment to sell. How would I accomplish this.:)

You get equipment by attacking Robber Baron castles. Click the equipment button, next to world map/go to castle button, and you can sell it there.

Agree - there is a lot to be said for having your castle and all outposts very close to each other. Transferring troops and resources is thus a lot faster and cheaper.

Especially if you're going to get attacked a good bit; having them all close really helps.

Exactly, only time you should have them not too close is when it is the nearest shiny food.

Or when you are moving your castle, to be super-close to somebody else's Outposts that you are going to steal.
