Does anyone have a good strategy to beat the cow tower in the Thorn King???

NOT helpful.

My strategy. 1st wave, 1 troop on every flank. 2nd wave, full ranged and full mantlets. 3rd wave, whatever is left of your ranged and add melee. 4th wave, the rest of your troops.

cow tower in the thorn king event?

I think you got it mixed up, the cow tower is on the normal map, not the event map...

but I've never finished the thorn king, so am I missing something?

There's a cow tower in the thorn king map. It's on the top of the map, near the middle (before you get to the half way tower).
