Please bring back the feature where foreign lords attack you!!!! It's a great way to practice defending and get some good glory!!!

If you want to practice defending you should use the khan camp. It sends more realistic/stronger attacks, and you get to pick what time.

if you want to practice defending try doing some PvP, those attacks can be the most realistic.

I will agree with both of you but would like to point out some differences:
Khan camp (unless it's levelled up really high) only attacks on one flank and is easy to defend. 
PVP- I've had too many people picking on me so I'd rather not but varg that is very true.

doing real PvP is also only like a 40% chance of getting a realistic attack tho bc half of US is big tater
khan camp only sends up to 20 shields too so you can hold most sections with all slits and mixed ratios

I really don't like that Foreigners and Blood Crows just take hits and don't send attacks.  The only chance to play against them is in Outer Realms, which is ridiculous since not everyone can play outer realms at once, and over there it is too easy to just buy everything and level up quickly and burn everyone lower than you without caring if they are more than 10, 20, 30 levels below you.  The actual draw to Foreigners and Blood Crows is not just the glory points, but also the team building for alliances, as you defend and support your team, and they you.
