I know right! Crazy awesomeness, you're totally welcome! I mean ok, in seriousness I totally get your point about having to ration your skips across loads of stuff. Maxed players with no more hall or research etc to do have a lot less to spend them on, but still, yeah, 300 of each 30m/1h skips + rewards actually don't last very long if you're running the event hard. It's pretty easy to go from max to empty in a couple of days, or a single day if you're able to sit down for hours.crazy munna (INT1) said:what an incredible solution why i didnt think about that earlier ..!!!BM Fujiwara said:You can buy skips, they regularly turn up in offers :P
But then, it's a free game, and the skips are free. Skips didn't used to exist. They're still something that lets you prioritise what you speed up in the game without using rubies. Is it an advantage to players who buy them? Of course it is. If you want to get top positions in an event you really need to buy the +X% point boosters too, ideally for as close to the duration of the event as you can. Oh and buy khan boosters too. Oh and the defense tools from being hit by the khan over and over and over again. Because you can guarantee the top players will be very active _and_ spending money on every advantage they can get.
It's a free to play game. Serious high profile events in free to play games are never won by free to play players. This is life and business. Has the gap between ruby players and non-ruby players got bigger? Yeah, over the last 24 months I'd say most definitely, but the company bankroll is also getting bigger, so they're not going to do things differently unless that changes. Either spend to compete, or do your best competing with people who are in the same position as you are and try to beat them instead

well you are right i wont argue with you for that because developers also need money for their hard work but the thing is when they first introduce the skips they give tons of skips and we got addicted to that thing because it was fun to use because u can do stuff much quickly so when they removed them it felt like im going to rehab centre to get rid of my addiction and its not fun... for example someone gives u $200 daily so u will treat yourself but suddenly they drop from $200 to $50 now u wont be able to maintain that lifestyle its same here its does not feel good to get less now while we were getting more earlier...so please tell them if they introduce something dont give anything in excess amount so we dont get addicted to that thing and then take away same case is with flint now u know that ...i have tons of other material but i cant do anything unless i hve flint it used to be more but now nothing as compared to beforeBM Fujiwara said:I know right! Just like with my example about looting towers, a lot of people does also not want to spend money on the game.
If a player has made up his mind to not spend anything, then it's pretty much a lost case, you can't force them to because then they will just leave the game.
Sure, if you don't like it, then you are free to leave, but a game needs players to survive and thrive. Without players then the popularity of the game will drop which will lead to less new players coming to the game, the buyers will also be unsatisfied since there are not many players around to compete with and ultimately the game will fall.
You need to find workarounds and solutions which works for everyone.

Yeah, I can see both points as fair. It is difficult getting used to having lots of skips and then finding there are none - particularly of the 5hr and 24hr ones. You can get them from towers if you loot properly, but at the same time you'll never get them as quick as you'll burn them. I responded originally to the comment about coming in top 50 and top 100 in events though - I don't know on INT1, and on UK1 you can definitely get top 100 without buying anything, and top 50 if you're really active. In US1 I suspect it's a fair bit harder. At the end of the day, my point is just that these balance changes will be constantly being made. I agree introducing something and then reducing it massively tends to make players unhappy compared to just introducing the low quantity would have made people happy with no drawbacks, but I guess I'm rather stoical when it comes to "being given free stuff". Anything is good IMO
