when i set the auto fill to use basic wood tools it will fill shadow wood tools instead sometimes really when did they change it where shadows tools can be use with regular troops will the new auto fill use my shadow troops instead of my regular ones this is a waste for me to buy shadows if the tools are used up on regular troop attacks

it's a waste to buy shadow troops and tools anyway tbh.
my recommendation would be to send them all to storm, unless you're actively looting there, so that autofill can't grab them.
Although I do find it strange that the autofill is using shadow tools. Pretty sure they're only supposed  to show up in shadow attacks, so maybe this should be moved to the technical assistance section or bugwatch thead.

It seems the "NEW" Auto-Fill needs some work.  Unless the "Combo" means something different than I would expect.  I would like it to use the Event tools along with wooden tools.  For example, the Tree Trunk Ladder and/or Fire Carts with wooden mantlets.  I suppose this is too complex of an idea for the system.  @JYT (US1) suggestion to send the tools to storm would be a bit of a hassle, once you needed those tools back.

I DO use Auto-Fill, but often adjust the tools after.  It does still save a little time with loading troops.  At least it tends to do 1st wave Range.




As for the shadow troops/tools, they realty are a waste of rubies...…...
