I think there should be a feature that auto adds a signature to all messages you send in-game. This is because many players in alliances do this at the end of messages to other alliances to identify who they are, and it would be so much easier if it could be done automatically.

I use signatures in my messages that are related to importance, or with new people.

But most messages are from friends, so it will just take character space in most cases - making it practically pointless. 

I like the idea, it's great for E-mails, but GGE isn't a formal game, and it will be a waste of development resources.
