you're probably expecting 'oo everything is SO p2w these days'. i think that, but why whine? they care not.

look, GGS. I know you are hell-bent on making money, but requiring players to spend money is NOT the way to do it.

I've been playing for a long time (many, many accounts), and i've seen the game change. the 'nice castle, i'll take it' and such quests being infinite (i LOOOOVVVEEE that, it makes going on castle-burning rampages worth it),events being removed, the wheel of fortune being more costly, and such (however the time between these accounts varied, my most recent account is 2 years younger than the previous account. i'd like to know if the classics [berimond, sams, nomads, bloodcrows, foreigners, etc] are still there).

the game's becoming more and more like a money grab these days.

GGS, you need to make the game actually worth spending rubies on. sure, the prime time and progress packages are good, but it isn't enough.

first of all, rubies need to be worth more. I'm not talking more expensive (don't even think about it), I'm saying they get you more. less rubies to speed up building, make tickets WAY cheaper (1 or 2 rubies per ticket, MAYBE 3. with that value nobody will mind if there's no price reducing offers on tickets. maybe.), horses cost a little less, ruby tools less expensive, etc. this way, more people will think buying is worth it, since they'll get more out of it.

second, make the game better for lower level players. This way, it'll be a bit easier to reach the higher levels, where the compulsion to buy rubies gets stronger and stronger. make the registration bonus more valuable, make earlier VIP levels a bit stronger, etc. maybe increase the amount of rubies you get for leveling up? 100 per level would be swell.

not to be OCD, but can there be an option to buy 6,500 rubies? all this stuff about buying 6,500 pops up, but you can't buy 6,500.

for the love of god, can alliance upgrades (loot capacity, that stuff) NOT cost rubies or at least require few rubies? there's not a lot of players with rubies to spare. and if you make the stuff not cost rubies, do return all or most spent rubies.if you guys make the upgrades cost more of the other resources that's fine by me.

any more suggestions, post em. don't just whine though.

In regards to the ruby one in the German shop you can buy 6.5k 15k 30k 50k 85k 180k etc. It seems they stayed with the prices (like 19.99$) but then adjusted the rubies you get for that based on conversion rate instead of other way around.

on making it better, I believe the relic concept address's that problem..   Many new players level up to 70 and can not compete because they did not develop properly from the start.  They either re-start or become discouraged.  With the relic concept those players do not have to restart but can become competitive rather quickly.

On rubies.  This game requires a lot of hard work to competitive.  Then they ask you to pay GGE for working at Empire harder than just about anything else you do.  The compensation system of tools/rubies and the like encourages players to continue and spend money.   That balance was off and GGE  needed to adjust it, not kill it.  I believe the Khan tent was an brilliant addition and the relic concept helps players overcome the learning curve, but taking away the incentive packages of rewards(like rubies) in exchange for the time it takes to play Empire has caused to many great players to seek entertainment else where.  The lost of that competitive base is hurting incentive badly.   So please, Greed is fine, but us players are greedy for a reason to keep playing too.
'Working" might be an more appropriate term.  GGE needs money to keep our game going, but we need encouragement also.  That balance has gone to far in GGE's favor.  The evidence is to many players leaving the game.

All about rats in a maze.

like this:  @Crom Cruach

Hard to figure out the first few times, but it is this format:  the @ and then the person's name and server        inside " ".  Exception is the Mods. as they don't have a server.  Just need their names in the "<NAME>" and the @ in front of it.

I have been summoned....

I can bring forward your suggestions, they are well articulated.

Crom please also look at the feedback thread on Availability of Upgrade and construction tokens, I started it after thoroughly enjoying all the aspects of GGE but finding this topic very irksome.

Ok, this game is great and all, but why do the equipment and commanders that you used to buy for tens of thousands of coins suddenly cost tens of thousands of gems? It's ridiculous. There's a difference between the people who don't care about the money they spend on games and then there are the people that do. Seriously, who would want to spend 44.99 USD on a bunch of gems? It's outrageous.

But other than that this game is really good and has wonderful graphics

Also, no player ever uses the option to heal troops with rubies. Think about permanently reducing its price by 90%
