Daily tasks are something we do. Putting Relic items in Alliance Smithy was something you did - and you charge us $80k coins to get them. But if you are going to charge - then remove this from daily tasks.
I am tired of paying $80,000 coins per day just to complete the daily

Remove the required Forge for the relics from the required list on the daily tasks. A lot of us cannot afford to spend 80K coins on equipment that we cannot use. The alliances spent good earned coins, resources and rubies to upgrade their alliance smittys and now we can't even use it and are being FORCED to use this new one. Give us other ways to get the relic equipment and let us be able to get what we need to complete the heroes we have. Like me, I am loaded with heroes but not getting the helmets or artifacts needed to use them. If I have to spend 80K coins everyday to complete the daily then I guess I will not be completing it anymore. Between the smittys, technicus and the kings quests I ran thru millions of coins in a very short time. This is getting ridiculous.

There is another thing that annoys me very much about the smithy, in old style we can only use it once a day and in the forced new style we can use it many times although the prices increase with a ridiculous rate after every time.
GIVE us the choice to use old style or relic smithy.
At the moment I don't bother about the last three tasks when the new smithy is in daily tasks, and I am sure 80% of the active player (seems a holy figure) do not us it any more.

80k coins is steep, yes, but the way I see it if you haven't got 80k coins spare then you should be looting more. 80k coins is stupidly easy to loot what with all the npc castles.
But also, if you think the rewards for daily tasks aren't worth it, why are you doing them in the first place?
What I don't understand is why they implemented relic equipment for 80k coins in the alliance forge AND put it as rewards in the quest book, with the quest book rewards at a far cheaper price. Usually:
Coins
Event points (Glory, khan tablets, sam tablets, etc)
Event castles defeated
You spend fewer coins completing this questline, and get more relic equipment from it.
But also, if you think the rewards for daily tasks aren't worth it, why are you doing them in the first place?

I always thought the dailies were worth doing and have been doing them until now. The rewards could be a little better but OK. The alliances all spent money upgrading their smittys and now don't get to use them as we are forced to pay 80K coins out for the GGE smitty. At least give us the option which one to use if you can't remove that requirement from the daily list. In talking to several alliance leaders I have learned that a lot of the players are not doing the smitty at all because of the costs. I did go all out yesterday and made a half mil coins hitting the npcs, but that doesn't mean I am going to throw a quarter of it away on a relic piece I can't use. The quest book is a better deal than the anvil is anyway. Will GGE listen to us, I doubt it as they are getting too greedy again.

Yes 80k is a little on the high side but I have found I usually get a decent relic piece much cheaper than if I was going to upgrade a normal set piece at the Technicus..
Having said that its not a bad idea if a player could choose normal or relic equip.

80k coin is like 4 cultist towers, or 4 nomad camps. If that.
If you're having trouble getting an extra 80k coin on top of what you loot daily, you're doing something wrong.

There are 2 diverging points around the $80k coin for the Alliance Smithy. They are getting crossed a bit. Both are valid points, but contradict.
1 - The $80k for a Relic Item daily, isn't a bad deal. Not too high a price, and the expectation is that eventually you can make a fairly sweet Comm/Cast
2 - The $80k cost to complete the Daily Task is ridiculously expensive. Many people like to complete this daily, just for the pleasure of completing the task and getting the little freebies.
It really depends on why you are using the Alliance Smithy.
The 3rd point is this: Alliances who Upgraded the Smithy have now lost the upgrade. They have the same as a brand new Alliance who is at level 1. This is UN-Fair.
It has been suggested, and this seems completely fair, that there should be a toggle. The original smithy, at the same level as before and the same original cost, AND the Relic Smithy. Allow the choice to pay $80k for a daily Relic Item OR pay a few coins for a standard Equipment Item. Either one would complete the Daily Task.
The only problem is, this makes too much sense...….

If you think one piece for 85.000 coins is cheap when you are doing only daily tasks, don't you do the event related quest? three pieces for 14.900 seems a far better bargain to me IF you are interested in the relic gear.

As for focusing on acquiring Relic Gear, yes there are many ways to get them. Not just the Alliance Smithy. On the Event Quest, you also have to fill the other lines up as well. In your example, the 25k glory line hasn't been met. Sure, for most of us, that line gets filled in fairly quickly. But, it is a 3 part requirement. In the Nomad one, I am not interested in spending Khan Metals for Relic Gear. The Smithy is just the coin...…...
