Can anybody figure out what the following in the announcement is supposed to mean(in plain language, not GGE speak)?
Today you will be able to log in and claim our Kingly Gift to you. This is a 24 hour 100% booster for our Festival of the Lotus King that has started today. It is only available until the 30th of August so don’t delay too long. It’s not going to be available again!
Consider that the timer on the gift only has hours left on it to collect. That mean we get a doubler everyday of the month? Fat chance of that given the GGE track record. It mean we can collect it once during the month, and until a person does so the timer resets each day? Would be a stupid way of doing it, but possible given GGE think. My guess is the collection timer should have been 30 days long, but since it's GGE, it's another screw up that won't get fixed. Compensation will be a sorry for the inconvenience message - anything more than that and I'll be surprised.

The gift is available to be collected until the end of August. However, once you log in, you have 24 hours to accept the gift otherwise it will disappear. To my knowledge it has usually been like this. Not sure why it was made confusing.
EX. You log in the game on August 4th (for the first time in the month), you have until the next day to collect the gift otherwise it is lost.

Perfectly. Just means the language is confusing as hell to the players. Call it an example of what GGE needs to know internally about it's availability vs what the player needs to know. Remember if you don't log in, you don't see the message, which shouldn't have mentioned the 30th at all.
Now with the clarification, all the multi's know they got all month to capitalize on the gift on their secondary/tertiary accounts....

Umm!! our Great king Eric has decreed and thinks a 24hr booster rewarding gift to all us lords and ladies who daily pop in from the real world over the years to play in his virtual kingdom game as a worthy birthday gift reward 
Who in their right mind wants to spend 24hrs sitting staring at a computer screen clicking clicking and clicking just to get a few extra broken black plates
Me thinks King Eric should stop listening to his round table Mafia cronies and his many court jester geeks because his Virtual kingdom is not real life and maybe begin to start to pay attention to his loyal lords and ladies who show their displeasure day after day here in his forum court because his loyal subjects do have a life in the real world which maybe he should respect that this world will always comes first .
So not a happy birthday me thinks but please do enjoy your cake King Eric

working for broken tablet of which you need thousands to get some sort of reward? not a hair on my bold head think about that, with or without booster, IF the game still exists in 10 years I may have collected 10.000 broken tablets by accident.

to be honest i never saw it , so never got it my computer was on and never saw the blue gift at all nor my alliance , but reading above i dodge a bullet

there has been no blue box, it was just a wooden box with a red ribbon around it and indeed you did not miss a lot

For info !!Not a blue box !! it was hidden in box with all the special offer pop up offers in a brown box only found by chance by a alliance member who looked after getting a e-mail to his phone from Goodgame Empire of this once only offer
So we all have missed it now but then again like I said who in thier right mind would use it

So the information in game advertised that it would be available until 30th August to collect. I only see that information when i login. Looking now, the booster has gone and Temperance's comment above says that we actually only had 24hrs to collect from the point you login or the brown box (which had no timer) disappeared.
Unsurprisingly, since it came out on a weekday and I work (like most people i suspect) I thought to claim it at the weekend since I had until 30th August to do so. Yet now I see the box has gone.
So offering a free gift is ridiculous when GGS's instructions about how to claim that gift are unclear. I am now very irritated.
Can you feed back the need for clarity so people don't miss out? The choice to claim at any point in the month for when i would maximise it the most seemed great to me. Shame that is not actually the case...............

Actually I logged in and had 6 or 8 hours to claim it. NOT 24 hours. Plus, at least 1 other member in my alliance didn't get it at all. So again GGS and it's empty promises.
