As long as you are having fun, I have had way more expensive hobbies than playing empire, but it all depends on how much you spend/used to spend. When spending a bit here and there brings you joy and you can still pay your bills I would argue you have your priorities set just right ;-)

Oh, no doubt. I have other interests that cost me plenty of money.

AND I have spend far more money than I care to admit on video games and game systems. (I even spent $60 recently getting the Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury for the Switch)

I just don't think that THIS game rises to the level that I am willing to spend money on............

Well, Bowser's fury isn't really a 2nd game. More like a bonus level.

The point was just that I am not opposed to spending money on a game. I COULD spend the $2 you mentioned earlier without batting an eye at my finances. But, I choose not to. I honestly don't think this game is worth it.

It IS worth playing as a Free Game........
