That's kinda the conundrum. Players physically need to cancel protection for the cycle to start.

It may be necessary to break protection early to get an outpost, because you will need as much real estate as possible.

its an unbalanced event no matter what version as long as a level 70 can attack a level 11 but a level 11 cannot attack a level 70. the level 11 just looses gold for the trip

*SIGH* YES, you CAN get a good result in the Builder's Version of the Outer Realm.  Just like all the other versions.  

Just STOP trying to play the Outers the same as the Main Game.  It is an EVENT and people just need to learn how to play it properly.  NO ruby purchase needed.  Just don't create a big army, and don't get bent out of shape when the level 70 wipes your troops.  DON'T attack a level 70 as there is no point.  

NO, you will not WIN the event.  But, you can get the good rewards for little effort.



Seems like I have said this all to @bummer (NL1) before.  Over and over and over and over...…...

I think you want a record(vinyl) that skips to repeat the message Wasso.  I'd say a CD/mp3 set to repeat but that's too new and people know how to cancel that.  The record is so old school knowledge of how it works is lost so it's unstoppable.

It's your only hope of getting through to them Wasso.

It's just that some of the major faults of the game are far more obvious to many in the OR.

Let me start with nothing of that initial value, it only harms me, I cannot defend it against a level 70 with the best will of the world without spending my good money which I can use better, I have no intention to win without a pay.

Then lets change the tune.  Your issue that it is not fair for a level 70 to attack a level 11.  That is TRUE.  But, it does not prevent the level 11 from being successful. 

 As to your suggestion to NOT give you any points to start with...….that IS the Builder's Version that we are in.    You don't have any point to steal.  This is all about YOU building your buildings to get the specific type of Might Points that count.  Sure, the ones on FIRE don't count.  But, I don't think the Level 70's are hitting level 11's to put their buildings on fire.

As to the Heritage versions, if there were no Heritage points given out at the start, there would be none to steal.  That IS the point of that version.  YOU wouldn't be able to steal any either and everyone would get the Participation Award for 0 points.

Don't hate the Game.  Hate the Player.  LEARN the Game...……..

One of the ways that low levels can fight back is to be a nuisance and keep hammering away at defence tools and troops, on high levels that have attacked them, and why not. If of course its not liked or supported then simply bring in rank levelling, but I would think that taking away the army retreat option would make many low levels that at present feel its unfair, a little bit happier and give them a bit of practice for future wars..

That is a good point.  I support the idea that the level 11s should be allowed to do nuisance hits on the bigger castles.  I believe that the idea behind the low levels getting bounced is from the desire to protect the Newbie Player in the real game.  This isn't the real game, and there shouldn't be any Newbies in there.

You point above missed that honor levels don't count twords rewards in the Builder's Version (or ANY version) of the Outer Realms.........

I am not going to discuss with you Wasso, its very annoying that you keep telling me I am stupid and its the game but now Druids is supporting the unbalance in no rules work only one way you suddenly agree. And that happens not only in this matter.

Some constructive criticism: How you say it means as much as what you say.  Hmmm.... sounds like I am repeating back to you what you just said to me.    For the record, there is a difference between Honor and Heritage.  Please, show me where in the Outer Realm a Plyers Honor Ranking gives rewards for the EVENT.  There may be the coins or troops/tools from the weekly honor rankings, but that is not what was the point of the discussion.  

Also, please find the post where I called you "stupid".  If you can do that, I will either never post again or send you rubies in game.  Your choice.  

@Druids (GB1) made a complete statement on WHY we would want the level 11s to be able to hit the level 70s.  Not just complaining that they can't.  I had responded to your statements to not hit them.  There is no chance of beating them, so what is the point?  Druids made the point that you had not.  Perhaps that is my fault for not reading your mind.  In all honesty, I don't see the point in doing the nuisance hits that Druids talked about in the Outer Realms, as that takes more time and effort than I want to put into it.  But, as he correctly pointed out, the Outer Realm is supposed to be "rules free" anything goes type of PvP event.  So, if Players want to take the time and effort to do the level 11 nuisance hits to tool burn the Level 70's I say: Go For It!  

But, it won't win the event, or even really advance your placement in it.  It will only increase your time spent......

My feelings of outer realms,

It is a Shark feeding frenzy,most players go there for no other reason just to get some participation points, there is no fair play, never has been , the best Outer to play is the one you just have to build like crazy , not interested in attacking.

The Heritage one no one cares who they hit , that is how GGE  made it , if you want to be a fair player , then you will become just chum in the water

I  JUST WANT TO GET IN AND THE GET OUT , SOON I WILL NOT HAVE TO GO THERE MUCH MORE YIPPEE
