So, I went away from the game for 5 days and the troops in my main starved. I'm not complaining about the fact that they starved but about the ones that I had left. I had roughly 800 flame bearers and composite bowman each and of the troops I have left there are 700 flame bearers and 80 composite bowman. See a problem?
The game prioritizes melee troops over ranged ones when they are starved, for both defenders and attackers. For defenders it's tolerable but when all you have left is 1000+ melee attack troops (which cuz of mantles are worth far less than ranged ones) you start to question whether the game is trying to get more money from us by getting us to purchase ranged troops.
Fixing this problem would be easy, just change the prioritization (which is, like, a line of script) or even better allow the players to manually change the priorities, distinguishing between defense and attack troops. It would also be useful to change the prioritization of troops that go to the military hospital because, like most players, I never heal ruby troops and it sucks when all my ruby troops get sent to the hospital to be discharged and my coin ones which I would actually heal just die cuz there isn't enough space.
So in the end, I just wanted to rant about the troops that I lost. If the game developers see this then please try to implement my suggestions because they would simply make the game better

I believe the priority is the Strength of Troop. Melee hits harder than Range, so...…...
