    GGE needs to make some changes in the "Beyond the horizon" event like,right now!!!!  Let the alliance choose who the castle holder will be!!!Also let the alliance choose who their leader will be. When one of the members jumps the gun and goes over hours ahead of everyone else it messes it up for the rest of the alliance!!!  Most of the other members don't even want to play the event when this happens!!!! GGE make these changes while the event is running at this time!!!

I played Beyond Horizons twice because my Alliance asked me to.  Each time I focused solely on defending the Alliance castle.  It was impossible.  Twice we received zero rewards despite all the hours I gave on behalf of my Alliance.

The concept of Beyond Horizons can be salvaged.  You want some players doing offense and some doing defense.  Therefore bolster the defensive players.  Let them construct special defensive soldier buildings which produce enhanced defensive soldiers.  A defensive soldier barracks.  A defensive soldier defensive equipment workshop.  A defensive soldier research tower.  A defensive soldier early warning tower that transmits early attacks on the Alliance castle even though it is in the player's castle.  Make these buildings a distinctive color like orange.  And include special defensive soldiers which match and crush particular attacking soldiers.  They are normal against other attacking soldiers, but devastate the one attacking soldier they match.  That way an attacker would reconsider including his 300 horror ranged soldiers when he sees the target alliance castle has 50 orange anti-horror ranged defensive soldiers waiting for him.

      You have some good ideas! I enjoy playing the Beyond the horizon event but GGE needs to make some major changes while the event is running at this time!!! GGE is all about making money but if very few players play the event then GGE don't make any profit,UNDERSTAND!!!!  Make the Event fun for the masses and you'll have more players playing the event and that means that GGE will make more profit,UNDERSTAND!!
