Hummmm is GGE trying to get more players to leave the game? Why give so many troops that can not be maintained for very long, food for 2 days at least. Then why not put the gift horrors (with food), as a collection box, so people can collect when they log. How many players are going to log to no defense troops and just horrors??? Just may be the tipping point for them to leave the game!
I am tiring of the continually moving goal posts and my tipping point is getting near!!! Not happy Jan!!!

They botched this, but they really set themselves up for it. The event reward tables have gradually shifted from mostly construction tokens, which are g00d, to mostly units, which are really GGS giving themselves a reward.
If they give you construction tokens, you build. if they give you units, you have to use them and that means, wait for it, fires and people having to spend r00bies on defense.
But they blew it this time, they gave units but no f00d, then they gave more units and no f00d, then they finally gave some f00d... and more units.
So everybody is running around like a chicken with their head cut off trying to straighten this mess out. Not Fun.

Again, as I stated in another similar post, we all had the option of either or not going to outers and we knew what the final outcome would be. We know full well that we will never get close to the German alliances so, we will have to make do with around 500-10k of each veteran horror. It is then upto us to try and decide as to what to do with them. When in doubt, always try and guess how many horrors you are going to receive and then calculate how much food they are likely to eat. I received my 1.5k of horrors, but I also had a whole load of other troops at my main too, which for me, would have been catastrophic, and as it happened, the first time I received the horrors, I had to kill most of them off. This time around though, instead of going for 3k of each, I decided to go for 1.5k (planning in advance) because I know my main might not support them but my ops will be able to.neuterable (US1) said:They botched this, but they really set themselves up for it. With that being said, if in doubt about the food consumption in all main and ops, always try to plan ahead for the next event that gives horrors away. This time around, I have 1.5k of each plus the additional 1.5 of each that they gave as per your rank in outers and everything is cool.
Just one question though, is it really any different when a player who wants to gain an advantage in an event when he spends real money to get more horrors (only this time food does come with them but no freeze and rightly so) to gain an advantage? I don't think so and players who have spent real money have had to kill off their thousands of horrors 1 hour before they go to bed.

If you can deduce that the thread is about Foreign Invaders, then you are better at reading comprehension than I. Not one post mentioned the event "Foreign Invaders." It clearly was a thread with reference to the outers event that just finished yesterday and the reward of X number of Veteran horrors to certain players who participated in the temporary event. At no point did we all get loads of Vet horrors from the FI event.FabulousMUSHY (AU1) said:This thread is about the Foreign invasion compensation I think? - we know what to expect from outer event.LegendaryKing73 (GB1) said:Again, as I stated in another similar post, we all had the option of either or not going to outers and we knew what the final outcome would be. No, we didn't. If this event functioned as it was supposed to, we would have all received the rewards we earned. Tokens and units for the top 10K, units alone for everybody else. Tr00ps should have also come with f00d, a bit of cushion to carry them over until morning.LegendaryKing73 (GB1) said:Again, as I stated in another similar post, we all had the option of either or not going to outers and we knew what the final outcome would be.
GGS forgot the f00d. To make matters worse, they tried a second time meaning they gave Double Units. Then they tried a third time with a new package that had f00d and even more units.
If you were e%pecting 1.5k demons, great, you got 3k maybe and 1.5k defenders. If you were e%pecting 10K demons and wound up with 30k new tr00ps, many of which came well before any f00d at all...
Well g00d luck trying to kill off 30K vet demons 150 at a time. This is a Lot of Work.

I liked the first version of the Outer where you got upgrade tokens and lots of them if you put in!! So pee'd off the amount has reduced. How in hell, are you meant to catch up to others! Real life does get in the way of the game and at times unable to put much time in!! Put the rewards back to where they started!!! Just because the big $$ spenders have achieved their outcome, no need to stop everybody else. Just pure GREED on GGE's part
