Ruby players and non-ruby players have access to almost the same number of things, par the ruby comms and casts (though any of them apart from shapeshifter one is outdated, but you can get a very good shapeshifter from the event so..), it just takes the time and effort (which is fair since you aren't spending money). After months, people would have thousands of quicklimes which not only will hurt GGE as people are not spending as much but, would also cause a further shift into favouring the defensive side. They are a premium item, shouldn't be given away for 'free'. So as I mentioned before, the better solution would be to just give that ruby offer to non-ruby players who haven't bought so they can have a chance in getting them. Otherwise, I suggest you just go and find a bigger alliance who are active because the reality is that the quicklimes are overpowered.Wasso (INT3) said:Therein lies the problem. I will not spend any money on this game. Regardless of the amount.Dudester (INT1) said:Well if you really want them, id say its smart to invest in the smaller ruby pack there is. That way you also unlock the super spins (300 ones) and you can win a decent amount of rubies if you invest the silver coins into it. Most efficient, and cheapest way of spending while claiming the most amount of benefits.THIS seems reasonable. The Silver coins are quick and easy to get. I get them and send them constantly. But, the Gold ones are expected to be saved up for the better items. Let's figure out a reasonable amount per quicklime.Experiment_626 (US1) said:Or allow you to purchase them with gold pieces.
For the LTPE, each 50 points = next level. Level coin rewards start at 100 and go up to 700 Gold coins. All total for the first go round = 10,000 Gold Coins.
I believe 75 tabs = 2 points in regular mode. So, 1875 tabs if you got exactly 75 on each hit = 50 points. 27 levels = 50,625 tabs to complete the first book.
50,625 tabs / 10,000 Gold coins = 5.06 tabs per Gold Coin. Let's call it 5 for easy math.
I don't have the tablet cost per lime powder bomb. - Of course the Nomad tent just left, so i cant go look - But, there should be a corresponding value. I THINK you end up spending around 1000 to get 45 of them. BUT that could be off a bit. That is about 20 tabs per LPB.
IF 20 tabs = 4 gold coins = 1 LPB, then we can triple the cost for the QLB and make them 12 Gold Coins per. If you like multiples of 5, you could go down to 10 or up to 15.
I know that was very conveluted, and my math could be off somewhere......BUT, I would be willing to pay either 10 OR 15 Gold Coins per QLB if they added them to the Master Blacksmith Tent..........

I don't know how to explain this to a non ruby player BUT.
I got about 700k in each OP too,

So yeah, non ruby players and ruby players are about the same.

So because you have them, you don’t want others to have them? Just yesterday on the GGE discord, someone was bragging about having 6k quicklimes. If you’re buying them with gold pieces, then they aren’t being given away for free.

Don't know if you're talking to me or not but I never said that. In fact i said that the better solution would to implement the same ruby special offers that ruby players get to non-ruby players. Gold pieces are p easy to get, its practically free.Experiment_626 (US1) said:So because you have them, you don’t want others to have them? LOL! When it comes to wooden ladders, yeah I agree. I almost never use them either. While I don't have THAT many, I have tons that are not needed.Venom (AU1) said:I got about 700k in each OP too,

The Gold/Silver Coins have made my attacking the events much more productive. It is giving me a small taste of what those who buy boosters can do and the benefits from it. I believe THAT is the benefit to GGE in allowing the Ruby Tools in the Master Blacksmith. Give the non-buyers a taste of what life is like for the buyers. Some will like it and start making a few purchases. AS the MB has limits on the amount that can be purchased, the fear of flooding the market can be mitigated.
I am just asking for the same opportunity to "taste" the Defensive Ruby Tools as well...…….

Just asking but why do you guys want them anyway? To stop what? 6 waves? 9 waves? if so do you actually get attacked frequently by them?

Because when you play in a top alliance, you need the best tools you can get and that includes defense tools. When you are getting massed, they are very important to have because every troop you have counts.

For us 1 person Alliances, it can help hold the Front and Flank giving the attacker -30% in the CY. As for the 6 and 9 waves, yes I have been hit by them. Not OFTEN, but it does happen. Since I only have my own Def Troops in the CY and not 50k+ from Alliance Support, that -30% and every wall defender I can save matters......

Isn't it the same in reverse? When attacking you want to kill as many troops as you can and not put veteran horrors to waste with a k/d of 0.5?Experiment_626 (US1) said:Because when you play in a top alliance, you need the best tools you can get and that includes defense tools. And well playing in a 1 man alliance has its costs. In this game there is strength in numbers.Wasso (INT3) said:For us 1 person Alliances, it can help hold the Front and Flank giving the attacker -30% in the CY. The point is I would like to have the opportunity to purchase Quicklime Bombs from the Master Blacksmith and I believe others would like the opportunity as well.

Super relic sets have nothing to do with my suggestion to be able to purchase quicklime bombs from the Master Blacksmith. Maybe post your request as a new suggestion.

The real problem is there is too damn much food in the game.
You want some challenging casual one on one PvP and you're in a top 50 alliance? Then this game has to change a lot, and I don't think most people could handle the learning curve required and/or like the changes that would need to take place. I don't think the changes will ever take place, if for no other reason I don't think GGE could program them bug free enough.

That is true and I accept the reality of how I play. But, if there were other options available to me that improved my ability to both attack and defend, I would like to take advantage of them.Dudester (INT1) said:

Same goes for Ruby Purchasing. I know that I put myself at a disadvantage to the Ruby Buyer, but the general expectation is that the Ruby Buyer should get advantages in how FAST they get stuff. Not that they have exclusive access to the best stuff. That they can BUY the QLBs by the bucket load is fine, but I should be able to EARN the same thing with time and effort...….

I agree, but i dont think they should be implemented in the master blacksmiths shop. Instead, in ruby offers with the same pricing etc as the ruby players have.Wasso (INT3) said:That is true and I accept the reality of how I play. 2 types of the same offer but one offers double the amount for same pricing.Wasso (INT3) said:Since I have never seen one, what IS the Ruby Offer for the QLBs?Dudester (INT1) said:I agree, but i dont think they should be implemented in the master blacksmiths shop. Dont have ss right now, but its as follows.
for 20k rubies, you can get 1200 quicklimes along with 5000 melee and 5000 ranged vet composites and 480k food.
for 15k rubies, you can get 300 quicklimes along with 1200 melee and 1200 ranged vet composities, 120k food
for 2k rubies, you can get 60 quicklimes along with 150 melee and 150 ranged vet composities, 12k food.
With these ruby special offers syou can choose to either purchase them all at the same time, or purchase a singular one of the options, then the offer disappears until next time. The numbers listed above were for the better double amount offer.

Cool, thanks for the info.
For the record, getting the 2k, 15k, or 20k rubies would take more time and effort than getting the Gold/Silver coins. But, that may be what is preferable from your point of view...….

I could actually live with that. I could get to 20k Rubies if I had a reason. Getting 1200 QLBs would be a worthy reason.Dudester (INT1) said:Precisely, they shoulder require more effort.Wasso (INT3) said:Cool, thanks for the info.

I think that just leaves the problem that GGS won't make any changes. I seriously would take either solution offered........
