I've played this game for a few months and have built a decent account in that time. Here is a list of Ideas that I've come up with which I think would be of help to the community and would make the game better to play.
One of the things that makes this game so amazing is the art. With the replacement of the normal rewards with gold and silver coins for levels 50-70 there is a lot of this lost. I would suggest to keep the gold and silver around as it is an extremely convenient means of choosing your rewards. In order to keep the universal usefulness of the coins and still add and preserve the art of the game I would suggest doing 3 things.
1. Replace the Attack and Defense units in the Silver coin shop with Units that are based off of the current seasonal event. So for the Nail Biter Event have some vampires, ghosts, skeletons, and werewolves. For the winter seasonal event, have yetis. snowmen, and other topical creatures ETC.
- The Treasures of the Savanna Unique Comander Set
- The Legend of The Forest Warriors Unique Castelian Set
- The Bear's Strength Unique Comander Set
- The Lion's Pride Unique Comander Set
- Grimbert's Armor Unique Comander Set
- Leopold's Armor Unique Comander Set
- Bleeding Tree Decoration
- Crow Tower
- Well of Darkness
- Pride of The Lion
- Might of The Bear
- Skull Fountain
- Guardians of the Reaper
- Tomb of The Three Eyed Khan
- Pond of Bizarre Beauty
- Witness to the Past
- King's Crypt
- Legend of Berimond
- Pond of Eternal Beauty
- Relics of The House of Urisade Unique Castelian Set
- Heirlooms of the House of Gerbradnt Unique Comander Set
- Berimond and Glory Event Relic Heroes
- The Berimond Barracks Look Item
- New Look Items should be added to the game thematically to each of the events and sold in the shops for said events.
Next I would remove all of the strength caps on all non-relic equipment, with the exceptions of Travel speed and Late detection which I would raise to have the same caps as relic equipment. Now this may seem bold and even a bit foolish, but let us consider a few facts.
- Relic Equipment has made almost all unique equipment obsolete because the strength caps are easily met by them and the caps for the relics are higher than for uniques.
- It will allow GGS to market strong Unique equipment which can change in qualities and design from time to time. Relic equipment is good, but once a player has a perfect set, it can't be improved upon and many of the pieces look the same to each other which is really a loss to the art and design of the game.
- The Fusion Forge for equipment will be largely unused without a cap increase that will make uniques better than relics.
- It will stimulate the creation of custom sets using pieces from many different sets which will not only be fun to create but will also be interesting to defend and attack with.
- Currently the maximum range combat strength that could possibly be created with uniques and legendaries is 390% with 40% extra flank space. This set is created using 4 legendary equipment pieces with nothing but ranged strength, 4 Aura gems from the Elementalist set, and a 30% range strength legendary hero. This set has no wall, moat, gate. or courtyard making defending against it interesting but likely easy, and it is ridiculous to build given the parts needed will take a crazy amount of looting and rubies. A current Relic set can have 150% ranged strength + an additional 150% courtyard strength total with the caps. Any unique set would not have even half of that strength and would be comparable to a relic set making them more of a specialization type set and less of a general purpose set.
Outdated rewards
Many events and areas of the game have VERY outdated rewards and need some reworking. Here are some suggestions to fix some of these.
- Native Villages in Ice, Sands, and Fire.
- Add a few Private Resource village tokens to the shop in Ice for tutorial purposes as the Resource village purchasing system really isn't well explained.
- Remove the Low level gems
- Cheapen the troops
- Add fast travel feathers
- Add some Cheap moat defense tools(reskinned swamp snappers)
- Add a decoration that can be purchased a singular time in each of the outer kingdoms with 300 PO and 600 might
- Add hard to reach tiers which contain Special tools for events and Pvp (I'm thinking 10% glory banners, 10-20% mantlets, anti Melee attack tools, glory+reduction tools, and event tools.)
- Add in later tiers infinite Construction and Upgrade Tokens at the price of 10k of the kingdom resource apiece. To reach these tiers make the cost exorbitant i.e.1 million wood, 1 million stone, 500,000 food, and 100,000 of the kingdom resource.
- Add some building Looks to a later tier.
- Luna's trade boat's rewards have become heavily obsolete. Very few players use those decorations, and the troops are very expensive. I would suggest removing the low level gems, the purple and green equipment pieces, the castle gardens, parks, and flagpoles, adding Fusion forge sacrifice Decorations, fusion coins, decoration dust, a decoration with 550 might and 245 Public order at the cost of 10,000 aqua, and construction/upgrade tokens at the price of 81,000 aqua apiece. Reduce the cost of the troops significantly. Don't make storms reset monthly and remove the cargo ships. Instead make the monthly prize pool come from Aqua looted per alliance. Increase the power of the top 5 decoration reward to 900 might and 500 PO to put it on par with the decos for top 50 in glory events. These changes will increase overall investment in storms and participation there.
- Upgrade the Decoration collected for completing level 1 to 600 might and 300 PO.
- Upgrade the Treasures of the Deep decoration that can be purchased for 350,000 pearls to have 3,000 PO and 3,000 might. This decoration is the hardest to collect from any event in the game and deserves to have stats that fit that. I personally hit the blade Coast rather hard and spend a lot of troops and tools trying to complete it and collect pearls. I can achieve about 50k pearls per iteration of the event. It takes 7x that amount to purchase 1 of it. The event shows up about monthly so that's about 2 treasures of the deep collected per year. There is little reason for this decoration to have worse stats than the saga of the terror bird, and similar stats to the terracotta soldiers.
- Bring back the old Blade Coast equipment pieces.
- Add packages that can be purchased with materials. Rubies are rarely used for this and it would be neat to be able to barter for resources. I realize the barterer used to be a feature, but it isn't any longer and it would be nice to bring back.
- Remove the possibility of receiving green equipment from the Wheel of fortune, It is unwanted and more or less useless to all players.
- Also remove war horns, coins, and horsetail standards from the jackpot as these "prizes" are easy to get in large quantities cheaply in the nomad shop.
- Increase the troop count recieved from a jackpot i.e. instead of 5 troops give out 50 and make them extremely powerful but also very hungry similar to the cave hunters and smashers.
- Give the Wheel of fortune jackpot troops their own distinct design.
- Add gifts to the alliance event rewards again. This would add to the sense of community to alliances and be very helpful to let strong players help out smaller players when they run out of tools, The high cost to the gifts in the gift shop makes this wasteful to do and making gifts an event reward would be quite helpful for the community and would build relationships between players.
- Make the decoration rewards on par with the top 50 rewards for glory events. The current rewards are weak yet very hard to earn, so make them better overall of even superior to other decorations
8. Daily Tasks
- Remove the daily taxes item from the list of options to do on the daily list.
- Add attacking event towers, spending event tokens, looting resources, and using speed-ups to the list of items on the to do list.
- Replace the rubbish tools with kingdom resources, event currency, and perhaps a few Horrors.
Outposts
Make outposts not able to be captured from a player more than 10 levels above you without consent from either the player who has them, or the leader of the alliance that has owns the outposts. So if I was level 13 I would not be able to capture an Outpost from a player whom is level 70 unless
A. They are in ruins
B. They have consented to it
C. Their alliance leader has consented to it and the player whom I am capturing from is a black dot player
Replace wood and stone first Outposts with food 1st outposts.
Alliances
Increase the number of players that can be in an alliance.
Add a new position to alliances called the advisor.
This position would be above the rank of everything but the Leader and the Deputies. They would be able to view defense setups without an espionage, view production numbers, overall quantities of resources, and be able to see the equipment sets of the players in the alliance. The Leader and deputies would also receive these powers. These items can't actually effect much but can make teaching and support easier.
Add the new rank of Bard or Jester.
Essentially, the story teller and lore teller and entertainer of the group.
Add a new rank of Guest.
This will just clarify who is a guest of an alliance and who is a member.
Increase the Maximum number of players allowed in an alliance.
Add a new list to the glory, nomad, samurai, berimond, might, honor, achievement points, weekly loot, and Exp charts to sort it to show all of the players in your alliance. This will allow players to see who is pulling the weight in their group and who is lagging behind.
Unused, obsolete, and broken features.
- Introduce the events to the game immediately after exiting the tutorial at level 6. This is the heart of the game and many players don't even reach the point of events showing up at level 10. The more players that can see and play events, the more players GGE will have.
- The Lost and Found, It's a nice Idea, but it doesn't do anything as far as I can tell, Either fix it and move it to the overview menu so Acheivements can take the spot it occupies now, or remove it,
- Alliance Gifts, Nice name, quite useless, Either implement it or remove it.
- Equipment, Almost all green, purple, white and orange equipment is unused by many players and just clog up their storage for more important items. Some have suggested moving the Equipment auto-deletion off of the paywall, but I don't think this is the best solution to the issue. you can either,
Ads
I realize that Good Game Empire has been losing players gradually for a bit and adding some ads to increase revenue might be an okay decision. However, how you have implement this will likely drive away away many of your F2P players who if given the chance might eventually put some money into the game. I can understand the frustration of the community and the want for ad revenue by the company. So I think I have come up with an adequate solution to this. Remove all of the current ad setup which is quite frankly a dangerous thing to keep around. Add a special offer that can be triggered as many times as a player decides to which will play an ad. Create a useful reward for watching it. I don't know exactly what the reward should be but it could be setup to receive a deco after watching many, or giving out a little reward for watching one but make it fair and balanced. Perhaps incorporate it into the daily tasks.
Capitals, and Trading Metropolises.
- Trading Metros need a boost to the food production they provide.
- Capitals provide little in help to alliances these days, the troops aren't economical and they aren't strong either currently. I would suggest making an update to the troops by increasing the speed of the troops to 60 and reducing the cost by a bit.
Royal Questline
Bring these back to be around on a regular basis. They are a really neat concept and should be implemented consistently. Perhaps have the rewards that are interspersed in it based off of the current seasonal event. This would also be a good place to give out some of the older equipment sets and decorations and give out other helpful and amazing items such as build items and upgrade tokens.
Honor
The rewards for honor are outdated. Replace the rewards with the build item materials from Beyond The Horizon.
Booster Shop
Add a new tab to the gold and silver coin blacksmith in which boosters such as the glory, nomad token, samurai token, and seasonal event point boosters would be available for gold silver or rubies. I'd make the glory booster 750% for 4 days for 10k gold coins. This would prevent it from being really profitable and keep the best behind the paywall, but make it available to the average player. I'd suggest about 5k for the same booster for rubies. Also add boosters such as Npc-Cooldown, Kingdom-Npc cooldown, Glory boost for specific troop types and others to the same shop.
Adventures
This idea is awesome and I think it should be built upon tremendously. Add more maps to complete which can be collected from attacking events, attacking players, and add some for the Fire Peaks. Make a player able to collect pieces from multiple maps at a time, but only be able to attack on one. Have new decorations and equipment added to the game and reuse some older sets and decos for this purpose as well as make a singular copy of each purchasable decoration in a weaker form available. Make the executioner set available through this with ridiculously low % chance of getting map pieces as well as other sets like the highlander, the winged knight and other older sets. This is one of the features that I've found to be heavily unused, but has so much potential.
Ruby Doubler Quest
Add a decoration or some other useful item to it. As far as I know few if any ruby buyers use these doublers because of better deals being available most of the time and I don't know of anyone who has decided to buy rubies because they had one. An extra reward to this quest would be nice.
Miscellaneous ideas
- Make the Keep 10 x 10. This will make castle layouts a bit smoother.
- Add a district that can hold the Taverns, The watchtower, the Master builder, The Glory Memorial, the Willow of Experience, The Relicus, The construction yard, the university, the Research tower, the Fire station, and the Hall of legends.
- Add a ranking sheet for berimond and glory points, The game seems to know the ranks already, why not show everyone what those ranks are.
- Also add a visible ranking sheet for nomads and samurai like for glory events.
- Make the Best-Seller Shop available to all players, not just those who spend money on the game.
- Make the ranking chart for the seasonal events show how many points everyone has.
- Add fast travel feathers, fusion coins, decoration dust, small quantities of construction and upgrade tokens to the mercenary post.
- Add a scroll wheel for spies.
- Make forwarded spy and attack reports have a function to show it as if you are in the attack menu
- Make non-pvp target spy reports able to be forwarded to alliance members to help with explaining attack to new players
Thank you to the players who managed to read this long-winded verbose list to the end, and to the mods who do so much for the community.
Looks very great, had a quick read just now.
I will look at it closer tomorrow, quite a busy day today.
But from what I have seen, it looks good.
I shared it with @whitetiger (AU1) after he delivered his nightly sermon in the Boo Master cave and he said that next time he has tea with Mrs. Lesch, he will share your post with her and Tommy.
Thanks again
Those are the players that GG should listen really, mods should pass this whole message to superiors in GG company that works in part this game. Listen those kind of players cause to write this message he gave his time, his creativity and his opinion not cause himself but for better future of GGE and all players playing it, this would really affect game in positive way event 50% of this if it would implemented it would be amazing. Player base would grow, players would start to look more motivated and include themselves in forum, talking giving opinions and suggestions. By the way im sure it would bring more money to GG too cause more players, more interes, more activity equals more investment.
It would me win win for everyone.
had many many players suggest idea's to gge and seems they mainly fall on
deaf ears. gge don't listen to players hardly so nothing you write down in a
positive way will be acted on.
players who complain have played for years and seen all the mistakes gge have
done. they point these out and sometimes they have acted on these. but 99%
of time gge do ZERO . as for mods well apart for sticking up for gge
what is there purpose these days ???
put it another way put down your idea's see how many are taking and used by gge
then put down all the cock ups mistakes gge have done since it began. you will
find you will run out of pages to write down all the mistakes.
enjoy your day keep smiling pubs are nearly open
You would be surprised how important they are for forwarding feedback and bringing important changes to the game.gazz65 (GB1) said:As for mods well apart for sticking up for gge

It might not be much, but we got the team to activate the -1 food global effect when the nomad invasion was running a little late. Many players would've starved without this.
We continuously provide lists of bugs and I must say, they have been taken on quite well lately.
GGS will only invest in game Changes, when they see the ROI potential.......
things they do or say. so when we see stupid ads we say so we don't sit there and think it's
a good idea. it was total crap and for food starving well in past we always came back to
starving castles and no troops.
same old thing is they never ask players in game about idea's or how they should
make better changes to the game.
at end of day if anyone new to game or mods think it's getting better and more players
are joining they must be looking at different game. uk server is full of shell accounts
so 1 IDEA IS start with the shell accounts get rid of them .
Answer of mods will be it's not easy to do get rid of shells. anymore shells next to me
and might as well be on the beach .
I think part of the point of those old, unique decos were that they were, well, unique. Sadly all have been eclipsed by the insane PO of the new decos, so no one has them out anymore, but they certainly did have some artistic appeal. Giving them a boost (or being able to apply their skins to other decos?) and making them available for purchase would be a neat idea.
Removing caps on red/orange eq is an interesting idea. I could see people making 300+ R/125W/135G NPC coms, but that's about all I could see them used for. Keep the destruct and fire caps, though.
Tokens in kingdom shops: Would have to be much more expensive, and decrease current prices. 5 horrors for 50k glass is a little expensive, but reasonable. 10k kres per token for unlimited tokens is far too cheap imo, but everything else sounds very good. Although, correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't lvl4 glass village cost 2mil wood and stone already? 1 million wood/stone can be got in under an hour of dedicated looting, so I'd say 20mil is reasonable. Maybe I'm out of touch and 20mil is ridiculous, but then again those tokens are end game materials.
A few private RV tokens is brilliant.
Aqua changes: 81k for an upgrade token is reasonable, but construction tokens are higher tier so 120k maybe? (You can overflow storage by capturing aqua isles--I had 387k aqua once). However, if rankings are determined by total aqua looted/collected through quests, castles should still reset monthly. 245PO still too low but could be added; I suggest 45k for 650PO? 245s not useful since you can get one with two nomad hits so if you want to encourage storm participation, they'd have to be better than those at a minimum.
No idea what the devs were smoking when they updated blade coast shop. The prices are totally out of line.
Bring back underworld!! I have a thousand rune gold or something and nowhere to spend it hahaha.
All the other reward updating look great. I think I started playing right around when the barterer was removed, but a wood-to-stone conversion thing at some cost would be good. ~35% resource loss when converting? I think it'd still screw massively with the economy of the game, so there is that danger. But being able to use up those millions of overflow stone I loot would be pretty cool.
Guest/visitor rank sounds great. Don't really see the point in a jester, but it's a funny idea. Rank permissions need to be adjusted, though.
Selecting multiple pieces to sell at once is good. Been suggested multiple times, but it's still a good suggestion. Although I do like the creative idea of using them to recharge the fusion forge. I'm not certain how well that'd scale though, since some people have lvl 3 fusion forges and some people have lvl 93.
The lost and found is like an extra-extra equipment overflow. I generally do not empty my equipment storage below 400 (get clogged with green eq too fast), only doing so when swapping commanders or castellans around, so I'm just working with the 20 extra soft cap on storage. However, from time to time I get a bunch of extra equipment when I'm near the hard cap of 420, so that eq goes into lost and found to remind me to sift through it, sell some, and then clear inventory space again. It's good to have, and prevents me from losing event-end EQ rewards if I'm not careful.
I believe the khan medal bug has been fixed (citation: I got my medals).
I would very much like to see reputation/gallantry/glory/tablet boosters, though 750% is a little overboard, especially 4 days for 10k gold or for 5k rubies--could close the book in one sitting for 5k rubies, convert winnings to more rubies through WoF. Dial it back a little.
Big fan of the adventure quests. Once I got through the green RB maps, the last two went down in like a day each lol. Can't believe there isn't one for fire peaks. after finishing peaks map quest, I'd like to still see only one map quest at a time, but where I can chose which kingdom's NPCs I'd have to hit to get the next map quest. Unlimited map quests that progressively get harder, with more map pieces, but that reward better decos and castle looks, and/or PO appearance build items.
I have a bunch of ruby doublers from seasonal quest that I'll never use since if I ever buy rubies, it'll be during 200% prime times. Perhaps a flat ruby redemption for them? idk jack about ruby prices, maybe make the doubler redeemable for $5 worth of rubies or something.
Reducing keep size to stay with the times is neat. All these districts makes the strategic organization of castles now rather redundant, so may as well trim the fat eh?
tl;dr: Good ideas, mostly just rebalancing old stuff to keep up with the times. Some prices need adjustment, but the underlying concepts would be incredibly well received imo.
Still can find the Star Spangled Horrors on the FL and BC Castles.....................JYT (US1) said:I really like the idea of bringing back those reskinned horrors, so long as all new horrors during each seasonal have the same appearance and name. Thinking about those forest hunters and skeleton archers brings back some nostalgic memories haha. It'd give the art team something to do besides making newer, crazier PO items.
Yeah and I like those too. I just think it's funny how they use the Star Spangled Horrors in the Glory Invasion Events. Just goes to show you how long it has been since they updated the formations.Geode (US1) said:True....but I'm not talking about just those. I'm referring to these guys.
On the topic of the special versions and the artwork and appeal of them: I support! This game is already very 2-dimentional. Adding some interest, even just in the look of the troops is a welcome break from the monotony.....
