I had an idea, one that i think is alright as ideas go: Alliance Wars.
Here's how this goes:
The Alliance Wars will be a 4 day event. It will consist of groups of 4 alliances in 5 different divisions.
The group each alliance is placed in will be determined by their might points. And the divisions that the each alliance is placed in will be based on how well they performed in their respective groups.
For four days these alliances will battle in their groups. Since there will be 4 alliances in each group and war will between each alliance in the group. (For example, alliance 1 will battle alliance 2. And alliance 3 will battle alliance 4.)
Every successful attack will grant 2 points and every successful defense will grant 1 point. At the end of the 4 days the alliances in their respective groups will get rewards. The top two alliances in each group will advance to the next division. Each division will have better and better rewards.
i do not know for sure if this idea will be liked, but i hope it is. If you do like it, please give some feedback.

There are already wars going on, so that would present a problem. Plus Might Points aren't a true indicator of alliance strength. Some love to favour events and would be crushed by a PvP alliance that may be ranked below them. Furthermore a 4 day war wipes out hundreds of thousands of troops if done correctly, not sure that most would be willing to go through another round of that afterwards against stronger alliances.

that would be a problem for alliances that only focus on events.
and then what if there are 3 alliances with P2W players and 1 with F2P? they are completely wiped out.

Awful Idea we don't need an event for it. GB1 is Crimson Guard vs everyone
