Topic: [382133] Attack setup that will break all lime bombs defense???? 0-0-100 all limes....

It all depends on whether the wall setup changes before the attack arrives.
If the wall setup is full melee with limes when your attack arrives, then 100% ranged with wall and moat tools is the best attack setup. Poseidon's shield walls are just in case the wall setup changes.

If you attack melee defenders with melee attackers, the defenders become more than twice as powerful, but your attackers can only be at most 50% stronger if you use war horns, with no room left for wall or moat tools, so that's a bad idea.

the problem with limebomb if you don't have a lot of them and the attacker uses bonus waves skin the result is clear

try tool burning the wall before you attack.   if you ht with no defensive tools there it gets much easier to win a flank.   or...have 11 waves of level 5 mead attackers and good tool setup will beat most walls.    i have seen a few walls hold against that but they have some ranged and over 1k troops on the wall.

Keep in mind that's a frowned-upon tactic that won't make you any friends, not that attacking people does that but clearing their tools really pisses people off. It also doesn't work if the defender is online, called online, or has someone log in to his account.

I dont do pvp so i wouldnt use them. Of course many have tried them for events, but Stillfront have shot themselves in the foot with events as well. As there are not the same amount of chests, and flags around anymore, many low spend or f2p users that may have used them wont bother either, as its a pointless exercise trying to make up the scores without the tools, and of course not what Stillfront want by increasing tablets and silver, according to them!!

the defenders are rip in 10 hits if you have low limebombs (even a free player can do that) that's why the changed the prices to reduce some mess on wars
