To be fair, I do think that GGS could add some events that do not involve attacking to earn rewards (unlike Might version of Outer realms where Whales come to splash their cash..) since that would bring a new event strategy to the game. Although I do know that it's easier said than done, I hope that GGE values the feedbacks of player and tries to initiate changes within the game. One of the few reason that I'm not trying to put harsh comments or trying to elaborate about the the type of events mentioned in the beginning is that I've found that both of these don't help much.

I think that's a very interesting point you make; running a so-called empire isn't just about troops and fighting and who attacked you.
However, GGE has a lot of battling/fighting/optimizing troops, etc. aspects, while most other parts of the game seem to derive from fighting. To simulate a more realistic empire, maybe there should be a complex economy/trading system that also takes the forefront of the game. Even if there are parts of the game that have something like that, it's not an important part of the game.
Perhaps I'm pushing for the game to be more realistic than needed; it is a game, after all, but I feel like, as you said, Kingdom of Dan, that would bring a new event strategy into GGE, one long called for.
I also think there's a lot of potential in alliances; maybe an aforementioned economy/trading system could be established in alliances and beyond, it would certainly be a new and potentially better part of the game.
I feel like the events are basically the same, just with different names and looks. All of them are about fighting, with lavish prizes bestowed upon the ones who fight and win the most. The objective of the game ultimately becomes defeating enemies and gathering more troops; other important facets of the game are derived from the battles/events/wars.
A potential new event could also attract new players who previously stayed away from GGE because of the continuous battling; events that go in a different direction that the current ones could bring in a whole different set of players.
Additionally, GGE's objective could move away from constant warfare and onto something more accommodating to other interests in games.
After all, it's not the GoodGame Battlefield or the GoodGame Wars, it's the GoodGame Empire, and it'd be nice to see it live up to the name in other, better ways.
Not that I don't like the battling, though. 😼
