Crossplay would certainly make it easier to play despite the situation or location. You could play on the same account on your mobile, computer, tablet etc.
Me and probably so many others would like this update.

There are already some ways to do this, although not ideal, you can request your browser to use the pc version of a website instead of mobile. That way you can play gge on the go.
