I think I might have seen other threads around here about this, so when is it happening? Or is it going to happen at all. The Samurai event seems to happen as often as rain in a desert at this point, so I'm just wondering whats going on with that. I'd like to see it more. Or if its being discontinued I'd like to know.

Haven't seen the Samurai event in a loooong time, but the Nomad invasion happens every week. What's going on? Will the event be back anytime soon?

All that we know is that it is coming "soon"... no specifics of when unfortunately. The event hasn't been discontinued as far as I am aware.

I can understand your position in that, and I sympathize. What's getting us stirred up from OUR position, however, is that the samurai were listed repeatedly in the season points event lineup for the entire month of March AND the entire month of April, and each and every time they never appeared and had nomads substituted for them instead. In the May event GGE didn't even bother promising samurai, but straight-out listed nomads for every other event in the Lotus King event chain without mentioning samurai once. That sure looks to me like a strong indication that GGE doesn't intend to bring back samurai at all, or at the best knows they won't be bringing them around for the foreseeable future. I THINK samurai didn't show up in January or February either but I missed some of those months through being sick so I don't want to say something here I can't prove. But it's been AT LEAST three months without the samurai. I can only afford to buy rubies moderately, so the way I compensate is to stock up on event chests, banners and attack tools at the master blacksmith whenever they're around. I have about 498 nomad shields and 4000 top-level nomad chests left; as compared to 13,781 samurai shields, 29,000 lowest-level samurai chests and 17,000 top-level samurai chests backed up. That should give some idea of just how long it's been since the samurai ran, and why we're getting frustrated. If GGE is planning to discontinue the samurai, that means that I just wasted a hell of a lot of gold and silver pieces on tools which are never going to be any use to me, which means I didn't have them to spend on other tools that are useful to me. And before anyone says it: yes, I do accept that it was my responsibility to check how many I already had before just automatically buying more when the blacksmith came around; but even if I had stopped at a reasonable number that number of tools and the gold and silver I spent for them will still be wasted if the samurai are no more, and the larger numbers I actually have are even better evidence to show exactly how long the samurai have been promised and not delivered, which was my basic reason for bringing the tools up in the first place.

Again, this isn't criticizing you, you're in a tough spot when the organization you volunteer for (or work for? not sure whether they pay you or not) won't tell you the basic information you need to answer our questions. But SOMEONE in the organization must know what the plans are as far as this event goes, and its very frustrating that you aren't even allowed to forward the question to that someone and ask them to provide an answer you can pass on to us.

Or are you? Would you be able to pass this one up the chain of command and see if you can get somebody to answer you? We'd be grateful to you if you'd be willing to try. Thanks,

We do, we constantly do and others do so for us. But like Daisho said, this really is the best you're going to get from us.
