Also I noticed I left out honor in my formula. Players with higher honor should be at higher risk. So the new formula looks like this:

i am also attacked over and over by anterior in world 2. i have wrote to him and he has now blocked me so i wrote to some in the alliance he has they just laugh. i have been in flames over 2 weeks . i cannot get them out because of the attacks, half of the flames need 3 hours to repair. i have no troops they go if im not online.

They haven't created a desert around you. It looks as though the game is yet to fill your area in with new players. In our area when a player leaves (ie. becomes inactive) it stays as ruins until a new player takes their place. We have a more dense playing area than you do.
As for attacking after you just start, it happened to me and my guys to and now the culprit of that is being ground to dust and I will honestly say I have no sympathy or mercy for him after what he did to me when we were beginners. Karma b*#&h -> suck it.
And Smartacus, probably not a great idea to war with your neighbour. They're too close to defend against.

Looking at your castle, it's clear that you're not a rubies player, but perhaps now is the time to buy some. Spend a week collecting mass taxes, buy protection and spend that week recruiting defensive troops. Max them out as much as your food can handle and hold them off. They'll stop if they lose a battle... maybe.

Thanks for the advice, the game is stacked against even small rubies players. 3 players have attacked me for over 10 days continually, there is no defense against players 15 levels above that have an attitude. The best thing was for me to leave my alliance to save them, it just about caused me to quit playing, my guess is that happens to many. I think its far more about attitudes than the game set up!!

I fully support this idea. The world of Goodgame Empire could turn a bit hectic for some players out there bombarded by constant attacks slowing down one's economy. I've personally been forced to pay taxes to nearby players. These new regulations could make the gameplay experience of new players more fair and welcoming.

they should have limits to the level difference you can attack.
and i think a 4-8 people attacking you a day is enough after that ur protected to tmorrow,

Well you can only attack him 8 times a day if you divide 24 by 3. But you have to wait for you'r army to return so it can take longer!

That's only in case of one player's attack not different players. Consider an alliance of 5 attacking you 8 times a day each!

That also only considers one castle. A player can be attacked much more than 8 times a day by just one player.

The cool down period only prevents attacks against the castle that is burning.
If you have a main castle and 3 outposts, then I can attack all 4. Three hours plus whatever travel time later, I can attack 4 more times. Three hours later again...

I'm not sure if that's true. I tried attacking a castle from my main and from one of my outposts. I wasn't on when the attacks stroke but when I logged back in I had only one report. First one had won and I supposed the second one had returned because the castle was on fire. So either it's not possible to attack twice or that was a bug?
P.S. If it's a bug **** GGS!

You are misunderstanding what I am saying.
You tried to attack the same castle twice. Once the first attack won this castle went into cooldown and could not be attacked again until the cooldown period was over. The troops in your second attack would march all the way, see that the battle was already won, and turn around and com home.
But, you could have still attacked each of his outposts.
To clarify, lets say we have two players. One is named Attacker and the other is named Defender.
Attacker's castle is "Attacker Main" and his outposts are "Attacker OP 1" etc.
Defender's castle is "Defender Main" and his outposts are "Defender OP1" etc.
If Attacker sends one attack from each of his castles to Defender Main and the first one wins, then the other three will turn around and come home.
But if Attacker sends attacks like this:
Attacker Main -> Defender Main
Attacker OP1 -> Defender OP1
Attacker OP2 -> Defender OP2
Attacker OP3 -> Defender OP3
Or if he has enough troops in one castle or outpost Attacker could do something like this:
Attacker Main -> Defender Main
Attacker Main -> Defender OP1
Attacker Main -> Defender OP2
Attacker Main -> Defender OP3
As long as each of the attacks is to a different castle then he can win all four attacks. And as soon as the cooldown period is over, he can do it again.

I think there are some limitations with the system, at low levels your rather defenseless, high lvl castles can and will easily crush you as soon as you get enough honor for them to get even a +1 because the need the food they know you have.
At high levels defenses can be unbeatable with a single army or even two armies and you still have spare food to feed a massive attack force. Once you get a ruby moat with ruby snappers there is not a chance a non-ruby player can even attack you the losses are about 10 to 1 or worse
The whole mechanics need to be adjusted for battles between players that the game requires for any sort of rank the solution would be allow RB to give ranks also, this means a player who chooses not to attack others can still gain ranks (nice touch with the XP that was at least a good change).
A few changes can make it easier
1) If there is a 20 level difference you just can not attack the lower level
2) Allow attack tools to increase the attack (Say bring in the catapults) not just negate the defense
3) Bring down the ruby cost to opt out of attacks up until level 35 allowing level 20s players who are getting bullied to be protected so they can build back up their defenses it is too expensive now for non ruby players.
4) Allow for an actual siege the attackers can camp outside the castle and block all resources entering this will make it very difficult to feed the defending troops this will allow lower level and non-ruby players chances to get even with bullies.

I think that there should be an option that lets you "Intercept" the attacking forces by clicking on the army that is attacking you and click on"Intercept".
"Intercept" lets you lunch a Maximum of 45 soldiers at the enemy's army to let your army "attack" the army that is attacking your Castle and you could kill the attacking forces or weaken the army so you can make time for yourself to make more defenses and you would get a fight log in your messages.Oh and if you kill the attacking army you can actually LOOT and capture some of the army's forces to work and fight for you.
