I know you can trade with other players, but to trade resources it is at another players or allies detriment as they also have to pay gold to send barrows. Maybe there could be an option where occasionally and randomly like the ruby resource merchant, a resource merchant arrives. When this occurs you can trade for example wood for stone.
It would have to be an uneven trade to make it useful in game play otherwise it would phase out trade between players. Something like - 1000 wood for 600 stone (or vice versa). That way if you have huge production of wood, but need stone to lvl up you could trade a whole heap of wood for a little stone and continue on your way.
Perhaps, for a fee (rubies of course) you could book a visit from this merchant and he will arrive 24 hrs later and stay for 24 hrs? Smart alliances could book him at the most central castle and send in all of their wood and have the controlling player trade stone and send it back to them...
Just an idea (as I have big wood for this... no seriously, I have a lot of wood and no stone
)
Cheers

I really thought this would have been liked by more people. The amount of naff ideas - "how about more free rubies" or "let non-ruby users get ruby items" etc etc that get posted about, yet something useful like a trade option is lost. Hmmmm. Too many 10 year-olds on here.
