Ahoy all. My name is Sprng. In the real world, I'm a life long gamer (started with Atari and never stopped) and a community college math instructor. I have enjoyed MMOs since Diablo (the first one) was kicking around; however, I never got into a lot of the more popular ones that are around today. I've tried many MMOs, and I rarely stick with any of them. This one, however, I think has potential. I like that, unlike most MMOs, this has non-consensual PvP. In addition, it has cooperative and competitive features. Those features remind me of my favorite MMO, Puzzle Pirates, which unfortunately is a dying game.
I have no idea what the culture is like in this game. I would be interested in joining an alliance with other adults (or maybe just become sword brothers...I'm such a newb, I don't really comprehend the differences between things yet), so I can learn and also meet new & interesting people.
A little bit about my character: I just started a few days ago (I still have 11 hours left on the new player protection) and I'm level 12.

I personally don't know of any alliances with only adults, but I'm sure there's one somewhere in this game. If not you could always start your own.
The difference is that alliances are more to help protect you, attack other players with you and help you out in the game. Swordbrothers are a requirement to increase your commanders (how many armies you can send out at a time) and spies (how many espionages you can complete at a time). TECHNICALLY in the rules you can ask them to help defend you or attack other players or ask for stuff, but generally if they're not from your alliance you don't (or at least I don't). But if you're looking for a swordbrother send me a request, I'd be happy to accept.
