I just started this game a couple days ago and I really enjoy it, but I have no clue how to use the resource transport system.

Hi and Welcome to this game and forum:)
You can send resources to your outpost or other players. Click on a Castle once and then put your arrow on top of every button. Click the one that says transport resources. Then you it should show you the rest of the things

Hello, thanks for explaining, but just to clarify; if I send resources to another persons castle do I get anything for it, like money or rubies etc?

no but many players have a trade system going so 1 player sends 2000 stone and in return the other player sends 2000 wood
