Hi there,
Been playing this game for a few days now. I just got a 50% discount on all purchases made with rubies (for making so much progress in so little time), so I bought a 980 treasure chest for 490! Gone are my low wood woes! (and my store of rubies). Time to upgrade post haste!

Yes if you started so you get 3,900 coins for opening it so yes.

welcome to the forum, and a better purchase for the long run would have been a bakery in your main castle, not only do you get reduced food consumption so you can hold more troops, but you also get a few achievement points

Welcome to the game and forum. Next time you use rubies, buy a bakery because they are useful. Just never use the rubies on shadow mercenaries or the plague doctor.

Gratz on the reward. I had the same thing but turned it down. lol. I'm saving for bakery now. Unfortunately I spent some of my rupies on hurrying production of resource buildings so I dont have enough for the bakery yet.

i think coins are more valueble cause rubys don't buy you men..
witout men u got no defeance so u get wiped out..

True, but with rubies you could just open your gates or buy protection mode while you earn coins and make an army. Also, there are many useful buildings/tools that you can only get with rubies.
