Hey Community,
Here's the patch notes for the next update!
- Alliance members can now support each other in a whole new way !
- If you are in an alliance and start recruiting a stack of units, you will have a new button to request help from alliance members.
- Open requests for help then appear in the user interface of the alliance members.
- With a simple click of the mouse you are now free to help this alliance members.
- With the help of your alliance, you can get 1 additional unit for each stack of units being recruited.
- For example, 5 Crossbowmen, with the help of the alliance, becomes 6. The recruitment time and costs remain unchanged, the Help is thus completely free of charge for the requester and for the helper .
- No matter how many alliance members want to help , you can still only add one additional soldier per slot .
- It is possible to take advantage of this assistance in all castles and all available recruitment slots.
- Each player can request help or help other alliance members as often as they want.
- This assistance is only for soldiers and not for tools.
- This bonus is independent of the "double units" function for rubies . The bonuses is applied separately so you will still only get one additional unit, not 2.
- If this works well we will look to add more options for alliances in the future.
- The old Marauders event has been revised and brought up to date .
- It now works in a similar way to the points event. Players can deposit raw materials and will be awarded points.
- For a certain number of points each player gets loot tools, and the known marauder and pyromaniac units. As with the points event, there will be 3 point goals.
- Additionally, there is a ranking list for all participants and extremely strong rewards for the top 100 and the top one player at the end of the event.
- The particular rewards are veterans versions of the Marauders and Pyromaniacs.
- As with the points event, the new Marauder event will be split into different level ranges so all participants have the opportunity to earn appropriate rewards.
- It is therefore no longer possible to skip the event requirements with rubies .
- Depositing of the raw materials in the event is easily possible by all castles now .
- The starting units of the game have been revised. Macemen , spearmen , bowmen and crossbowmen now move much faster on the world map. In addition, they can be recruited faster.
- The combat values of these units have also been adjusted. The units are now all capable of attacking and defending, so all you have to consider is the difference between ranged and melee when getting started .
- There are 4 of the starting units so no specialists to attack or to defend. As usual, ranged attacking soldiers have a good chance of against defending melee units and vice versa.
- Only once you unlock two handed sword and longbow troops, must you distinguish between specialised offensive and defensive units.
- The spearmen and the bowman are now very cheap units, they have relatively weak attack and defense values , but are cheap and fast to get. Macemen and crossbowmen are more expensive , but also stronger.
- The values of swordsmen were also adjusted, he is now a pure assault unit and stronger than the maceman.
- These changes are intended to allow new players noticeably faster and better gameplay.
- The movement speed of the Wolfhound is also increased so they remain the fastest units in the game. However in return, their attack power has been reduced.
- The other units, such as the veterans have not changed in combat power or running speed! Thus, these changes have no impact on the struggles of the players in the higher levels .
- Depending on our analysis and your feedback, it is possible that in the future, the running speed of the stronger troops will be increased to make fighting more dynamic.
- Due to this change we will also be changing the troops and tools used in some of the lower level Robber Baron Castles.
- In addition, the travel speed of ladders and rams has also been increased, so that they can keep up with the faster units. This change also affects the premium tools.
- The existing speed boost for players below level 10 will be removed as the units will now be fast enough.
- The equipment dealer now offers new special packages. These are usually around several objects of one type, such as a package only with helmets.
- The "double stack" units function can now be used two times per stack. So you can go from 5 to 10 units, then from 10 up to 20 units in a stack.
- In the detailed view of the combat report the wall protection bonus will be shown at it’s base value without the defender tools already having been added. This makes calculating the combat resolution easier.
- Tools now have an icon in their info screen to show if it will increase bonus or reduce a bonus and s can be easily assigned at a glance.

Hey,
Due to a few internal issues the update is taking a little longer than originally planned. We expect the update to take around another 15 minutes. If there is any further delay on that i will be back her to post another message.

The issue is still being worked out and unfortunately we don't know when we will be able to bring the game back online. As soon as i have any further information i will update this thread.
