Hey Community! Here's an insight into the next update, the mysterious Island Kingdom! We will announce more details later!

The new kingdom - Overview

Players from level 35 can unlock a new kingdom: The Storm Islands.
Each player will have his own island and will send his troops with the help of ships.
When starting the kingdom you will be given a castle with a few buildings, some upgrades will have been done and a few decorations.
With a new rare commodity the members of an alliance can earn points together.
To earn strong rewards here the cooperation of the whole alliance is required. The leader of the best alliance of the server will become the Storm Lord.
Each member may, regardless of the level, contribute through their activity towards victory.

The new commodity - Aquamarine

In the New Kingdom there is a very sought after commodity to capture: The aquamarine.
As in any other kingdom, raw materials and troops can be sent to and from the island kingdom.
Aquamarine can be captured from the native NPC’s or from other players. This activity is rewarded.
In the sea there are also resource islands. If a player they conquers one of these islands, it must then be protected for a period of time. When this time has expired, the troops return to the castle with a lush stockpile of resources.
Resource islands work differently than resource villages, since they only have a few hours before they disappear and show up again after some time in a different location.

The Storm Lord

The leader of the best alliance is appointed at a certain time to become the Storm Lord.
The Storm Lord, as head of the storm Islands, is granted the power of four titles to assign to his friends and his enemies.
These titles give positive or negative effects, such as an increase in the recruitment speed.
The Storm Lord and the other title holders will have a symbol shown on their main castle on the world map.

Commodity Islands - Details

Occupied resource islands can be taken by other players. The occupation time, which is needed for the exploitation of the island, will then start over again.
They are available for wood, stone and aquamarine in different sizes.
With the captured aquamarine players can build cargo ships in their island castle. The construction and upgrading of cargo ships earns points for the alliance.
If a player leaves an alliance and joins another, then they will take their points for the month with them.
Once a month, the moon storm comes and floods all the islands.
All alliances will be rewarded based on their accumulated points.
Depending on the points earned there are rewards, such as strong quipment, for all participants in the Alliance. There are also rewards for the Top 20 and a special reward for the top 1.
The Top 20 reward is a strong decoration for all participants of the Alliance.
The alliance at the top of the ranking will be awarded a special prize. Their leader will become the new Storm Lord!
When the large moon storm is over, a new round in the battle for the aquamarine starts. The Kingdom must be enabled and the construction of the castle begins again.
Through the monthly resetting of the island kingdom, a fair competition should be possible even after years, as all players start with the same conditions.
For this Kingdom, there are several new quests.
Players who do not wish to participate in the global alliance competition can trade earned aquamarines at a native merchant for coins, new units and equipment with set bonuses.
The new units are suicide fighters. They are very strong, but they will perish when attacking. This does not apply when defending.
Now and then a dealer appears that offers powerful tools for fighting against the natives in exchange for rubies. These tools cannot be used in combat against other players.
There is a ranking list that shows the current standing of all participating alliances.
In addition, there is a ranking list, with the points the each member contributed to their own alliance.

The Storm Lord - Details

The appointment of a Storm Lords, the leader of the best alliance in the island kingdom, is always at the end of a round. Accordingly, there will be no incumbent Storm Lord in the first month after the update.
The titles award by the Lord of the Storm to players can be redistributed only after a period of time has passed.
It is not possible to reject the positive or negative title. Enemies of the Storm Lords should therefore be careful! However, the negative titles are not so strong that the affected player cannot play anymore.
The reigning Storm Lord and the positive / negative title holders, can be seen by each player from level 35.
A player cannot have more than one title.
The new title does not replace the glory title. Regardless of the effects of the titles, you will continue to have the benefits of your glory title.
The current storm Lord will hold the title for a month. At the end of the month, the leader of the best alliance is again selected. It is therefore possible that a storm Lord could hold the throne for several months in a row.

Other Changes

The instant build feature for buildings and research that requires a long time costs generally more rubies to better balance the benefits of this feature.
