Hey Community,
The following changes will be made in the next update:
- From level 25, players can now loot Gems from Robber Baron Castles. From now, you will be able to loot either a Gem OR a piece of Equipment.
- The level of these looted Gems can range from 1 (minimum) to 5 (maximum).
- Gems will provide new bonuses for the Commander or the Castellan.
- These effects are all based on probabilities, for example: "20% chance that the combat strength of the attacker is raised by 5% in the Front"
- If the effect of the Gem is activated during the battle, this will be shown in the battle report.
- Upon activation, the gems each activate individually. For example, if three gems have a 10% chance to grant 15% attack power, with luck these could all be activated at once.
- Gems can be applied to pieces of equipment. Players will place these gems in 'sockets', and when the gem is replaced it will be destroyed (removed from your inventory) and the socket will be empty once again.
- The price of socketing and replacing a gem depends on the level of the gem itself.
- Each piece of equipment can only be socketed with ONE gem at a time, and the effect will then be applied solely to this item.
- If a gem is removed, it cannot be used again, but it can be replaced with a higher level/different gem in order to overwrite the old one.
- Gems have several stages (levels), and as they level up, they receive better effects and higher chances to activate (for example, a level 3 gem is more effective than a level 2 gem)
- The higher the level of the Robber Barons attacked, the higher the chance to loot a better level of gem.
- Gems will have their own storage capacity, and will not limit the equipment inventory slots.
- When a player reaches level 25, the Equipment Trader will also stock packs containing random gems.
- There will also be a chance to create gems when using the Alliance Forge from this level.
- Just like equipment, gems can also be sold for coins.
- However, when the gem is applied to an item, you can no longer sell the gem individually The item will sell as a piece of equipment, with no additional value.
- If you want to enhance your gems, you can combine them with one another!
- Placing exactly 6 gems of the same level in the Forge will then attempt to increase the level of the primary gem.
- The gems used to craft this superior gem will be destroyed in the process.
- The maximum level of a gem is 10.
- Improving the gem will cost coins, with the ability to use rubies to increase the chance of success to 100%.
- The higher the level of the gem, the lower the chance of success for improvement.
- If the improvement fails, the gem will remain at its current level but the 6 gems used to attempt the improvement will be destroyed.
- This is a new day-long event that appears every now and again.
- During the event, whilst the Banner of Glory is hoisted, attackers will receive more Glory Points.
- The percentage increase of Glory Points received and the duration of the event may vary. (e.g. 10% glory increase for 6 hours)
- If a new player (levels 1-19) sends an attack to a defender who has highly superior forces, a fight will not occur.
- Instead, the attackers will flee at the might of the enemy, and return to the castle.
- A battle report will also arrive in your inbox to inform you that the fight did not occur.
- This will only happen in cases where the attacker really has no chance against the defender.
- Whether an escape happens is based on the strength of the defense in comparison to the strength of the attacker on his arrival (not their level). For example, if a level 5 were to attack a level 70 that had only one man positioned in his castle, the level 5 could still attack and win.
- A symbol has been added to the Player Overview menu, displaying the Kingdom that the respective castle is in.
- The Automatic Declaration of War has been re-added with the option for the Alliance Leader to turn this on or off from the diplomacy menu. The default status for this is ENABLED. (So be sure to turn it off if you don't want to use it!)
- There are now new achievements for the completion of Nobility Contests.
- The achievements for the Marauders have been revised and are now available again.
- The Drill Ground will receive two new level upgrades:
- Level 4: Level 16 required construction time: tba | Recruitment Speed: tba (The final values we will provide at a later date)
- Level 5: Level 16 required construction time: tba | Recruitment Speed: tba (The final values we will provide at a later date)
- You can now ascend to the first prize category in the Wheel of Fortune event easier.
- The login page has been updated graphically.
As always, you can discuss these changes in our Discussion Thread!
Regards,
Your Empire Team.
