Lords and Ladies,

It’s been a quiet few weeks across the Kingdoms. After the carnage of the Battle of Empires, life returned to normal across the Great Empire. Songs being sung, delicious feasts being devoured in the great halls, steel and flesh colliding into one bloody, sharp mess….ah, the good old times.

This has given everyone some time to collect their thoughts and move forward with brand new ideas! Cutting edge technology, deeper strategic thinking and a glorious extension of the current title system, are all on the table for this weeks update. So read on, surprises await!

New Glory Titles

• The glory title system is getting an overhaul!

• Instead of 24 glory titles, there will now be 30 in the game

• This will also change the required amount of glory for some titles, and the way in which glory is lost accordingly

• Instead of immediately going from a 2% to 10% loss in glory points, the percentage lost will gradually ramp up at the 19th glory rank and above

• The new ranks will also have brand new bonuses, including speed boosts for wooden tool production, Kingsguard defender units available for recruitment, and cost reductions for recruiting Kingsguard defenders.

• Overall, most players will have more glory and be able to obtain/keep ahold of higher ranks due to these changes. The highest levels will be more difficult to maintain, but the new bonuses will ensure that falling down a couple of ranks isn’t dramatically bad.

• Once the update goes live, everyone will be at their current rank within the new system, but they will also start to lose the relevant amount of glory every day. For example, if you are already at the top glory title right now, when the update goes live you will be at the new max glory title (with a 10% loss)

Detailed Unit Overview

• As requested by various members of our global communities, the ‘Military’ overview (when hovering over it) will now provide more in depth detail about the distribution of your units.

• It will now show a specific division of your melee/ranged units, for both attack and defense

• The display will show the number of each specific type of unit and the accumulative strength of these units

Facebook Integration

• You can now register for the game and log-in using your Facebook account

• There will be an option in the settings menu to ‘connect’ your Facebook account and allow you to use it to log-in in the future

• New players will be able to register with a simple click of a button, using their Facebook details

• There will also be an icon in the in-game news, linking you to our Facebook page, where you can find competitions, news, games and more!

• This feature is entirely optional. You can still log-in and register via the normal methods!

• Please note, in order to use the forum, an actual email address will have to be separately registered

New Build Items

• More build items will be introduced to the game, for the Farmhouse, Woodcutter and Stone Quarry.

• Build items can now be obtained in a variety of ways; through events, purchasing with event currency (e.g. Samurai/Nomads) and ruby purchases from certain vendors

• Some pre-existing build items have been reduced in price

Specific Attack Times and Army Slowing

• With this update, you’ll now be able to slow your armies before launching an attack, ensuring that they’ll arrive at the optimal time

• When launching any army movement (that you could use horses to speed up, including spying and support), you can now choose to spend rubies to slow the army down

• This delay can be up to a maximum of 12 hours, ensuring that your army can arrive when you need it to, but not giving a huge advantage to the players that use it

• As part of this feature; we’ll have a new ‘date and time display’, allowing you to specify exactly when your attack will land before launching.

• Even if you delay your attack, you will still have the same timeframe to cancel it after launching as before the update

Other Changes

• There will be new prime deals combining offers for two events (for example, the spring nights festival event + samurai event)
