As you may have noticed, our servers went into maintenance mode at around 3:20 PM CET, for around 40-50 minutes.
Unfortunately, we had to take the servers down immediately, as it came to our attention that a very small number of players were able to consistently sell decorations, even if they had none in their inventory, resulting in an unlimited supply of coins. In the interests of game balance, and the player economy, we took the servers down immediately before this issue got out of hand.
Although the amount of players that were able to gain coins in this way ended up being very few, we have deducted the extra coins from their accounts, and made the necessary fixes to ensure that this problem does not occur again.
At the same time, you may have noticed that the forums were laggy or inaccessible. Due to the huge amount of traffic generated on the forums, we actually managed to break the Vanilla servers (kudos, that’s not easy!). This should also not happen in the future, as precautions will be in place to handle high amounts of traffic.
