I've been meaning to, but I couldn't find the time yet. I've got ideas though and some experience writing original work.Wicked said:Any more creative minds lurking around?

Ofcourse it won't be a problem.Beral Shak Ur (AU1) said:@Wicked; If in the case I do win anything, could I ask you to hold back the prizes and bestow them to me at a later date? I am planning to discard my Australia 1 account and then start over then and it would be really great if I could have the stuff on my new account instead of an old account I'm going to have deleted soon!
My deepest thanks!Wicked said:Ofcourse it won't be a problem.Beral Shak Ur (AU1) said:@Wicked; If in the case I do win anything, could I ask you to hold back the prizes and bestow them to me at a later date? we drop it inside this topic and i message all the players 1by1 for the rewards,
Here's my entry,
“Gather round! Gather round!”
Cried a wicked voice amidst the crowd.
“The king be holding a contest,
A summer one, the very best!”
“There are prizes for young and old,
And most of them worth more than gold!”
A murmur passed throughout the crowd,
And up spoke a voice, low and loud,
“I, Popeye, will win,
As sure as I have a fish named Fin!”
“Not so, I Arcaine,” spoke a voice steady and firm,
“From Central Management, will make you learn,
How to truly win with speed,
Whilst on my honest, noble steed!”
And so, there you have it,
Who knows who will win it.
But one thing is for sure,
That everyone will want more.
My entry: This is a concept art chain that I made of Empire (all one entire piece.)
(Concept art is a quick sketch drawing to show the basic idea of subjects (like surroundings or colors and details) in a movie, animation, or before a final digital/handmade artwork, like themed wallpaper or a paining.)

Here is my entry, Created today by Debbie (eibbed62) Not really sure how to fix the formatting so sorry for the appearance
In the silence between heartbeats,
Outside the pools of light
Lurks the stuff of nightmares,
Horrors, looking for a fight
Armour black as darkness
Weapons sharpened for the fray
They wait impatiently, biding their time
Before the break of day.
The pre-dawn light, still black as night
A summer’s day awaits
And when it blooms, a battle looms
Beyond these sturdy gates.
The kingsguard scouts and sentinels
Prepare their best defence
To vanquish the foe and make them all go
Scurrying to their tents
The moat is set to fire up
The portcullis, shut tight
The murder holes are primed with oil
And next to each, a light
The master armourer has flogged
His apprentices to bits,
And barrels of arrows stand ready to use
Beside the arrow slits
In readiness the troops await
The breaking of the day
And in each house the peasants quake,
All they can do is pray
They pray to make it through the day.
They pray their kids will be ok
To keep the demon troops at bay
To make the deathly horrors pay
For strength to stand and have their say
That champions will have their way
And in each heart a blossom starts
To chase the fear away
Then as the sunlight floods the land
The battle lines are drawn
And within one unlikely lass
A Heroine is born
And all throughout that summers day
Her armour glistens bright as sun
Her dancing sword, a fiery tongue
Keeps the demons on the run
Despite her wounds she does not fall
She finds her feet and holds the wall
Her battle call inspires them all
They watch in awe as she stands tall
As one by one her conquests fall
And when the final battle’s won
Her name in legends will be sung
Within Valhalla's hall
