Really appreciate your honest and detailed feedback here, I believe it's one of the first times we share the sequence of events so it's really valuable for us to get your first impressions.
Will make sure to pass this additional feedback onto the team, if you have any more feedback regarding the balance of the events, rewards and frequency feel free let us know here. It would be very interesting for us to find out more details for example, how many defenders you would like to see per camp instead of the mentioned 500, and perhaps what sort of rewards you like for these events.
In the coming days I will create a couple of poll threads where we can discuss this in a more indepth way, rewards for the events in general and how we can improve them and the alliance tournament; who would like to see it more often and how we could possibly optimize it.
Of course these are not the only big topics right now, but I believe it's a good place to start as a way to also transition the responsibility from CM Arcanine to myself to represent you guys. Right now, I would like to get a more accurate feel for the amount of players that would like to see certain changes, so we can try to improve the game in the direction that also suits everyone in the best possible way, or likewise to at least give a satisfactory reason on why we decide at the time that something would not work well with the harmony of the game.
If you have any other major topics you would like to discuss in regards to game features and mechanics, for example having separate brackets in events for legendary players. Feel free to PM me or create a thread so that others can get involved or back you up encase they agree. Then we can try to prioritize them and work on the most important ones for you first.

The event sequence has never been released because its. FI ,Nomads, FI mk2 , Nomads mk2 and the Berimond green when they can be bothered.
And its still that.
Feedback is already on the forum, we dont get paid to repeat ourselves CMs get paid to dig it out or actually look at it.
CMs have changed. But has the process of collecting data ? If its not .. Then its just brick wall changing to Concrete wall.
The final part is laughable , us customers have tried many different ways to communicate with GoodGame Studios. Whats a Thread / PM going to.
You had @ang1243 (GB1) , @cheza2000 (GB1) , @reblousou (GB1) Myself and many others suggest a much simpler way of gathering instant feedback as we have/had direct contact with 80% of the UK1 server.

This.... Just this... The time that there was the crisis with the Nomad Rewards was the best point for GGS in terms of customer relations at the end, it was recognised that there was a major problem that really needed to be sorted out, the Skype group conversation that followed was great for both sides, it was frustrating that there was a limited amount that Steve could offer, but it was still progress, progress which has not continued sadly, the people included in that conversation represented the whole of the UK server in a great cross section, and so I am flabergasted that it was a one time thing..UltraFlavoured (GB1) said:Sometimes I do hate to be so negative about things but there is a few things poking me here which I will bold and comment on.CM Evoke said:Hey guys,

bumpThe_Guru (US1) said:What is the current schedule again. What event is after nomads and the one after that and when are they starting I can't tell from the first post if it is current or not?
FL ... Nomads ... Samurai ... Berimond ... Blood Crow ... Nomads ... Samurai ... Berimond ... FL
Rinse and repeat. This gives people time to build coins and troops before being attacked again. I know many want to think of themselves and want glory glory glory but too many people are quitting at a ridiculous rate because GGE is continuously attacking. The worst things that ever happened to this game are:
The Kings Market taking over the annual packages we could purchase
The bakery being made 4 times its original cost (and watch tower)
God Commanders/Castellans (used to be you had to EARN what you had - the game wasn't for sale to the deepest wallets)
The foreign invasion
The Blood Crow event
The last two took us away from the PvP game I signed on for. You gutted what made this game great. You've gone beyond being able to fix it. It doesn't matter what you do. You neglected your customers for too long; It's too late.
Event prizes and competition groups really bother me. At the core: lower levels can reap far more benefits from the events than higher levels. It seems highly unbalanced that I, a player of almost a year, struggle to max out the event prizes, while a brand new player can land a full cast/comm set and hero in a matter of days. As a lower level 70, I am competing with players who out rank me sometimes by the hundreds, and expecting me to ever hit the victor spot in an event, is...unrealistic if not outrageous.
There needs to be a break, if not two or three, in the 70s levels. A fair chance at working hard and winning something for one's work. For instance, 70/1 - 70/199 lumped together for rewards. Just like the under level 70s are grouped into competition groups. Better the rewards, as someone mentioned, for the higher level competition groups. That way there's always something new and exciting for players to work toward or look forward to achieving.
As many people have said... tired of FIs frequency and the duration thereof, and yes, Blood Crows are identical to FIs, which makes 2 events that are tiresome and boring. I would also like to see better prizes: more attackers, fewer defenders, and better (more) tool rewards. And more wings / feathers. We also need more ways to win glory tools, across more events.
Achievements. There are many achievements that cannot be obtained because things have been discontinued. Potions, as an example. Get rid of the achievements that cannot be achieved and add in more that can. Working on achievements at least reduces the monotony of the current events. Some could be built off the existing events as well, which I wouldn't think would be too difficult. An achievement for x glory, for hitting x number of FCs, for obtaining x number of tablets, etc.
And while this has nothing to do with events, or the event system, I would really love to see a *live* player market. A place where resources can be bought and sold, where excess equipment could be bought and sold. Either inter-alliance, or inter-server, or even both. Sorry to drift off-topic there, but that's something I've been thinking about for a long while.
kiki313 (US1) said:1) We need more FC defenders to make more glory, BUT ONLY if GGE does NOT REDUCE the glory payout on FC hits, and does NOT RAISE glory requirements for prizes and rewards. You are making the game too hard and too costly for a lot of players that would normally buy rubies for these events, that are no longer doing so. I would like to see at least 900 defenders on each FC, with bigger FC's showing up much more often. It has become too much of a grind to be enjoyable. FC used to be my favorite event, now FC and Blood are dreaded events that I no longer look forward to. Also, stop putting attackers in the FC castles, that's stupid. Reduce the amount of time you give for FC and Blood events down a day or so. It runs too long to sustain for most.
2) The Bloodcrows event is just a weak re-skin of the FC event, with a different name. That's the only difference is the name. Not very innovative or ground-breaking. This may work for children but adults recognize this instantly. FC event was already happening WAY TOO OFTEN to begin with, every weekend was already overkill. Now we have 2 identical events, neither are enjoyable, twice as often. This, in conjunction with point#1 has made FC and Blood event the most disliked events in the game. Players are participating less and less due to these issues. If you want players to participate more, you have to at least ACT like you care enough to make it enjoyable.
3) Nomads need to come more often, especially before FC/Bloodcrow events. You don't need to make FC/Blood EVERY OTHER EVENT. Its the same event with the same problems as FC's, with a different name, pushed on us twice now. We already don't want to do it one time, much less twice. Players recognize that the most profitable event is being pushed on us WAY TOO often with greatly reduced rewards and incentives to participate.
4) Reward payouts have been dramatically reduced for most events. We notice, believe me. .
For example: In Samurai event you used to get more Sam tokens for Sam point "milestones". (The final one used to give like 1000 or 2500 tokens I think) The overall total of tokens given away for milestones has been greatly reduced. There is no reason to upset players over something that should not make much difference to GGE. We need more feathers rewards, more loot bag rewards that contain "sand/bricks", more glory banners, more attacking troops, more tools.
5) Staying on the topic of rewards. Give less defenders and more attackers as rewards. We use attackers at all times, we need attackers. Defenders are only important about 10% of the time, maybe less. Attackers are important 100% of the time. I'm not saying stop giving defenders, just give less defenders than you currently do, and give more attackers than you currently do. Need to give more tools as rewards as well due to event stacking.
6) Requirements for events have changed with the new rewards system to a much higher requirement for each event/reward. Roll the requirements back. For example: The red and blue tree deco in beri map event is now like 52k beri pts to get. (Hope I'm not confusing the beri deco with something else. My numbers may be off, but it used to be much less to get the deco) It used to be obtainable to players that tried for it. Now you have to put a second mortgage on your home just to get it. I'm not going to do it and a lot of other players agree. I want to keep playing this game, but lately there has been so much focus on increasing cash flow, and so little focus on player satisfaction that its pushing players away from enjoying this game enough to spend their money on.
7) The ruby costs of the loot bags and other items in rubies is absolutely ridiculous. I will never buy a loot bag for 15-20k rubies. Not ever. Price it realistically. I wouldn't pay 1k rubies for a loot bag, much less 15-20k. Getting too greedy on the price of items will leave you with less paying customers, which means less total income. This isn't rocket science. Happy customers are customers that purchase more things.
8) Events are being piled on top of us at an alarming rate where a lot of players can't keep up with troop or tool requirements to finish just one event, not to mention 5 at a time. Either need to slow down the event output, or dramatically increase tool and troop rewards. I would prefer the latter, with more troop and tool rewards to give the ability to keep up with events rather than slowing down event output.
9) Construction Yard. You took away building and upgrading base food production boosters. For those of us that made base food boosters that we can't upgrade AFTER you let us build them is a poor decision. Don't tell me that we have the "other" food boosters we can use, cause they are garbage unless its applied to a low production level granary, which makes them fairly unimportant. Give us back the ability to make and upgrade base level food boosters. BRING BACK THE BASE FOOD BUILDS.
10) Kala event. Every Kala event has given that useless Kala castellan that is NOT better than the Sam castellan. Why would you offer something worse than what is already available? Consider offering a good commander instead of that terrible cast. Or at least offer a cast with better courtyard bonus than Sam cast.

how bored we must have been playing the game 4 years ago, how did we ever stick with it
The only difference in these two is the their flags and the ally Deco Reward
Nomads should be more frequent and yeah you muct think about the players who just get in L70 and have to play it
Give more chances for Chests in both the nomads and samurai
Remove the Beri event....nobody likes it and keep the earlier one with the soldiers coming to us also because its worth it
Just training those soldiers and after that they die(or whatever go to hell)...Bring the old Lion Warriors back to game because of them only the game had a fun and one more thing about BM is that the time is too less in a way to complete from anyside and that leaves for a half victory
These things GGE must keep in mind and show the correct offer for each event
It happened like I was playing BC and suddenly Nomads Booster started and that was there for 2-3 hours and i was feeling bored because I needed to buy the booster as i had only few flags left with me
It's supposed to represent player castles, right? Not many players I'm spying have 500 troops. Even the weak ones generally have 1k.CM Evoke said:Hey guys,

It's not horrible to have a few 1k castles, but if it's really going to be representative of player castles why haven't I ever found one with 80k horrors? Why haven't I found one with 30k defense? We really do face this on a regular basis. It's common for a player to get 10 - 20k support, easily.
I don't expect defense when being attacked by them. They generally have no tools or such weak commanders that my basic def will be enough. Def I never have to train, might I add.
My point here is that if you are going to make the claim that these are representative of player castles then 1k+ troops should not be a rarity, it should be common.
I think one of, if not the biggest failure in the WoR/Bloodcrows events is that the Hall of legends gives us 5th wave at 120 and 6th wave at 360. These contests need to be broken down further to be fair. Because there is no chance of a level 70(1) beating a level 70(800) in WoR. They are not on the same level. It is unfair to have them competing for the same reward. It's like having a level 70 compete with a level 1.
The only problem with alliance tourney is that people could jump alliances. iirc that was fixed, so idk why it's been prevented since then. Obviously the top alliances are going to win it every time. That's the way it works. That's what being number 1 means.
Funny, I hadn't read the last paragraph of your comment. I'm not going to make a new thread, though. Already spent too much time on forums. Please, if you could, @me when you make a poll. I will be sure to link it to my alliance and try and get more feedback from the community. I don't spend much time on forums.
1. +1. Further, many of us haven't even had the opportunity to play in this event. I've been playing almost 2 years and I haven't got to play this event! I want the achievements.Flash85538 (US1) said:
There are a few things that I've noticed would make this game a lot more enjoyable, a few of them have already been mentioned like making the FLs stronger, we shouldn't have to dread every time Brazil shows up because we know they will give us nothing. Here are my ideas, which while it may be a long shot that they are recognized, I have spent quite a while thinking about them
1)Bring the Alchemist back. This will draw players to the regular robber barons again. The constant presence of either nomad or samurai is just loot inflation. Now that I already have the nomad set and Samurai equip sets, there is nothing more for me to get then fish fountains and horsetail banners. It makes hitting them boring, and more of a chore then anything. Giving players the Alchemist rewards again will give them actual rewards for their efforts against robber barons.
2) Change up the Crows. There is possibility for a good event here, but not if it stays the way it is. All that has been changed is a new equip set that takes a minimum of nine weeks to get if you get top 100 each time, and a new PO item that, lets be honest here, nobody but Negan will get. Nobody has beet her in glory in months, it's not going to happen anytime soon, stop using them to get people interested in events because that just disappointing them more. Instead make the crows more like a game, like the old samurai's used to be. That was fun, and even if you didn't get the best stuff, it was interesting and different. Have the levels of the game be based on glory tiers, reach a certain point and you can play with tickets you get from destroying crow castles, which have the possibility of getting troops, tools, and the higher you go, the crow equip set and PO items.
3) STOP REUSING SEASON EVENTS more then one of those cast sets each is useless for players that are active enough to get them. It's boring, and rather annoying to players that want something different. Also give better tools in the season events, when players get up into the 600's on kala points they have been putting a lot of work in, 60 mantlets doesn't make a difference to us. The first event did it right, with the good defense tools that I still keep around, they were interesting, useful, and players wanted to get them, now all we would play for is the equip set, and that, as I've already said, isn't useful anymore.
4) This is just a warning, but the way equip sets are used at them moment is going to start falling apart eventually. All the old players that the game is trying to hold onto don't want new equip sets, you guys keep giving us them but anyone that hunts for equip sets already has 90/90 god commanders and casts and don't need them anymore. If all you have to offer for events is a NEW equip set, the older players are going to get bored of them even faster then the new players who realize they don't have a chance to even start getting them
5) This is probably one of the more out there ideas but a new kingdom that players can get into when they hit LL 250. At the moment the only point to getting LL is to be a higher LL. with how much PvP is shunned in the new system, with everyone afraid to hit anyone because of the server war, the whole LL update is basically useless to almost 70% of your player base. A new land like this (which should probably be an underground area, kinda like the underworld event) would make ALL players want to advance their LL quicker to get to this land so they can get more might points and feel like they have actually accomplished something. Players wanting to advance quicker means more people buying rubys which means more money for GGE.
6)MAKE BERIMOND LAST LONG ENOUGH SO WE CAN FINISH IT. There is no way to beat berimond in the current system. With about five days we cant do anything, make the event run for a month, test how long it takes for the players to beat the event, and then start running it at that time. And bring back the old PO items that were in there, they felt like more of an accomplishment then getting some rare materials every once in a while.
7) Alliance tourney and Grand tournament, they need to be brought back. PvP is the heart of this game, and is what makes the most money. The alliance tourney was making a come back, then it just stopped when the alliance city contest started, which, spoiler alert, ISN'T A VERY GOOD EVENT. The equip set for it is not even a natural 90/90 for the ridiculous price it costs to get it, and the way the alliance city is designed is so limited and basically useless unless the event is going on, and that just happens randomly now with no warning. and unless you let us support the city, why do we have horns for it, we cant do anything about it so there is no point.
8) just scrap the berimond invasion, nobody likes it.
9) give players a little more personalization for themselves, the game wants you to be the strongest castle lord but absolutely nothing about the game can be customized. Coat of arms isn't good for customization because that's just optimized for boosts. If every player had a section that came up when you clicked on their player info that you could read a little more about them, and maybe the ability to have an avatar for your castle lord, it would make the game a lot more fun and give there bland gray castles a little more character. you know, for fun, after all it is a game, it's not supposed to be something someone comes home to after work and begrudgingly loots npcs for hours because they have to.
I guess overall, the point is to do things that would be interesting, constantly throwing the same things at us over and over again is boring, it drives away the old fan base and doesn't interest the new players, resulting in less money in the end.
Thanks
Flash
2. +2. Absolutely. The idea that this event is identical to WoR is quite frustrating. I really thought they would come up with something new.
I was disappointed when they removed the card game from Samurais.
3. +3. Man you speak to me. I don't even bother now, the equipment is just 12k gold to me. I don't even want the commander from Bloodcrows. I don't even care. I have unique commanders laying around doing nothing. I need gold! lol. I need hundreds of millions of gold to finish teching all the crap. I also agree about the tools. Just give us wood tools, even. Like when I get 300 wood mants from WoR I'm pretty happy. Even though they're pretty worthless and I can use them up in a few attacks, 6 at most. I guess you might be able to get 7.
4. I agree. This is insane. So much equipment it's not even worth trying aside from helping the alliance get #1. So everyone gets PO, and tbh, in WoR, it's not even worth it. I just place them wherever. I'd give them away if I could.
5. Good idea. Good logic behind it, too. Also, it's very easy for GGS to do. They already have a template, surely.
6. Which Berimond? The green one is stupid and can just die. The outer one, idk, I haven't done it for a while. It's very simple and monotonous. The Green one is pretty short. I think the only way I could ever complete that event is to use rep boosters. Cheaper than all the range tools I would have to use otherwise. The outer one is easy, just gotta be willing to sit at the screen and set 2 minute attacks every 2 minutes all day long.
7. Agree with every point here. Though, not sure I know what the Grand Tournament is. I don't go for the set in the city event, I just hit it for the resources. I donate the tokens or whatever you use to buy the set. I think it would be cool if we had some warning about the alliance city event, or all events for that matter. There definitely is no need for horns on the city.
8. See #6.
9. I'd like to be able to write a tagline, having an avatar would be cool too. I know of many other games like this that do that, but GGS gave us a 6 month limit on archived messages, so I don't think they want to start hosting images. Plus, then someone needs to audit those images. It's more work for mods, etc. Fun feature and idea, though. I support it, but I also see why they wouldn't do it. Even though it's a very common feature.
I think the bottom line for me is to stop recycling things. 3 months of Kala... come on.
I have been reading through this feedback over the last days, and I have to say it's extremely well detailed and thought through.
Thankyou for taking you time to do this, it's really good for me to have updated information on the events topic since the introduction of the Bloodcrows.
To give you a small insight, I will be collecting this feedback and separating it into major topics e.g frequency, rewards, sequence and then also feedback per event. Then as previously mentioned, in the next days I will create a few major threads for the main topics to facilitate some more organized and detailed discussions.
Of course, I will get back to you as soon as possible with any developments or information I can pass on in regards to these points.
