Adjusted Special Offers
The special offers have been reworked. (updated rewards, better fit to your needs, fair payout for all players)
The switch to the new special offers will be implemented over the course of the week when we are sure that everything works as it should.
Performance improvements
The second part of the performance monitoring system will come with this update and will help us keep track of future issues.
We also reworked our movement manager to improve the overall performance of the game.
Another way to improve server performance specifically is by reducing the load from the battle logs tables. You will definitely notice the performance boost after this update!
Optimizations
In the resource transport dialogue, there will now be a dropdown menu containing a list of each castle so that you can choose which castle you send resources from, and which castle you would like to send resources to.
Tax rates will be reduced while sending resources between kingdoms, the new rates will be 25% to the Great Empire (Green Kingdom) and 20% to all other kingdoms.
There will be some graphical improvements to the environment surrounding your castle.
Some offers have been removed because they were outdated. This will result in a more fluent control with less popups for you.
The upcoming Winter event will have an additional 100 activity rewards to collect, rather than the previous 80, making that 180 in total!
Alchemist retirement
As previously mentioned;
1. Players who purchased ingredients for rubies during the last 3 times the event has run will be refunded the value in rubies!
2. Players who still possess ingredients (e.g. from farming) will receive appropriate compensation, but not in the form of rubies. Our balancing team is still working on a formula for this calculation.
An in-game message will also ensure that you receive relevant information about this. In order to avoid confusion, this message will also contain your storehouse inventory of ingredients which were identified in our database. The whole process will most likely be carried out in December.
You will be able to keep all achievements that were gained through playing the alchemist event. We do not want to make you lose the achievement points that you need for rewards. However we will be implementing new achievements in the next year that will make rewards available to everyone without achievements from the alchemist (or others).
As you can see we have many performance improvements and optimizations in this update but that’s not all for this year, the auto recruitment feature should finally come as part of our last update in mid December.

A little more information here as follow up from what was mentioned in the update announcement.
A few months ago we have started to develop a feature for Automatic Recruitment of units and tools, based on your suggestions.
We have already started testing the Automatic Recruitment on some selected servers and this generated valuable feedback for us in regards to quality and functionality. Considering all of the comments and suggestions from those servers we decided to invest some more time into this feature.
This is why we could not publish the feature as initially announced in the end of November. However our plan is to have it live before Christmas.

The switch to the new special offers has been implemented. Now we also want to inform you about the changes in a bit more detail.
- The good news first: We have radically reduced the average prices.
- The not so good news is: The bonus shown has on average been halved. This is due to the following reasons:
Example: An offer for 20€ and the contents "250% Khan Tablet Booster for 2 hours", 100 Demon horrors and 100 Deathly horrors would have shown a bonus of 400% before. After the reduction of the price for the booster, the shown bonus for the same content would now only be 165%.
2. We have tried to construct the offers in a way that either a) better fit your needs for e.g. an event, or b) so you can choose the items you need yourself. Over the course of this content rework, we have removed useless items from the offers which only used to inflate the shown bonus but had no real benefit for you.
Example: During the Nomad invasion you want to collect all activity rewards and climb up the ranks. With a complementary special offer you get boosters, tools (of course especially shields), units and the fitting minute skips so that you can get those tablets as efficiently as possible. And nothing else!
3. We have noticed that the increase of the special offer bonuses have affected the balance of the game. In order to give players the opportunity to use these offer rewards in a meaningful way, the game became more difficult over time. These players could still play the game well, but for the others it became too difficult. We would like to eliminate this imbalance. In a first step we have capped the bonus and distributed it to a wider range of players, so that all players can can enjoy the game.
