The Dutch server is no longer interesting to be on because of players like you. I already quit there because I was burned there and lost everything during the time I had chemotherapy and was not able to play. And worst of all, the players who did this knew about my private situation.

I know that reading comprehension is very difficult for some people.
I am NOT asking about a compensation for lost soldiers because of food.
I am asking this in general for players who have to work in shifts and not like you from 09:00 till 17:00. They are not able to send the soldiers to a safe place in case of big war.

sometimes if you're still logged in you stay in the game until you log out.  Or in this case when the server crashes on you

FYI for those who can access the forum but not the game, setting your internet adapter's DNS servers to manually pick Google's may well fix the problem:

primary (IPv4): 8.8.8.8
secondary (IPv4): 8.8.4.4

primary (IPv6): 2001:4860:4860::8888
secondary (IPv6): 2001:4860:4860::8844

My issue (now resolved after a fair amount of effort with my ISP) was that my router was being given bad address infos on the empire domains from the ISP's DNS server - if anyone is having trouble and actually understands what I just wrote, the above should fix it until they fix it across the board.

EDIT: This won't make the game work for people with a "game under maintenance" screen, it'll help those getting the repeatedly-circular "Connection to server interrupted" message for the last 3-4 days. The game under maintenance screen is a GGS server thing that will be fixed when they go live again

Interesting, we have some players still in the game, but no one else can get in.
The same thing happened to me once. I was logged on during a downtime while at least some of the other players were not able to log on during that period. Although I had a downtime as well and had to wait because of this it was only for a little while. Possibly because I was already logged on.

LOL I was online till like 10-20 minutes ago, That was when I refreshed my browser :neutral: ....
Noticed most people were online but didn`t investigate...Now i`m kicking myself, could`ve gotten some nice glory hits in. Ohhhh could`ve hit some big player :smiley: .....Or my old enemies he he

GGE make so much money selling us pixels that cost nothing, so their operating costs can't be that high.

You'd think they'd invest in decent servers and a good support team.

What the heck???? I was massing RBs to do the King of Shadows quest and most of my attacks got canceled. I was using VIP mode to send out more than 100 hits he he. I only got 20 brs! :neutral:
