Dear players,
Unfortunately, we were not able to send the Booster compensation on Saturday at 12:00 pm CET.
Instead we will do it today at 5:00 pm CET. As an additional compensation we will add 1 hour to all the players who had to get this bonus on Saturday.
We understand that some players will have leftover bonus time after Nomad invasion ends tomorrow. For these players we will have an additional compensation depending on the length of the leftovers.
You will get an in-game message with detailed information and the list of compensated items. Unfortunately, the message will be in English only.

I will translate, We screwed up again, after promising all players that this would be sorted we realised that the next nomads event started on a saturday and well working a saturday to undo one of our major screw ups is way to much like hard work. So instead of sending out a simple mail to let all effected players or even bothering to put something up on the forum, we will just break our promise and leave them hanging.
then when we come on Monday morning we think oh well I guess we better give them something, totally ignoring the fact that your players bought the boost for a specific point in time for a specific time when THEY could could use it effectivly, to give them a chance of doing well in the event. When you buy the boost is a fundimental part of the decision of buying the boost for example you dont buy 8 hrs boost just before going to bed!!!! or you gonna waste it. Neither do you buy the boost when you have no available time to make the most of it. Also if you are competing to try and win the event buying the boost with around 16 hrs of the event left 8 of which you are going to be asleep is pointless. You will have already lost the event by that point in time. you need it at the start of the event ideally to last for the duration of the event to give yourself the best chance.
So no giving a boost out right at the end of an event that has in reality already become impossible to win is wholely unsatisfactoty, as is the fact you never paid out the top prizes for the event i did buy the boost for.
The reality is I paid for a boost to last a whole 4 day event, I wasted some of my time / effort and money in that event for it to be scrapped and my efforts and money to be totally wasted due to no fault of my own.
Now you are proposing to give my my boost at a time where the reality is others have had a 2 day headstart from when i was PROMISED i would have my boost. And you think thats OK ?
also its a bit vague over how you are intending to compensate me for the 50-60 hours boost that will still be left at the end of this event.
And that doesnt even begin to address the fact the boost was bought to last the WHOLE of the event to give be the best chance of winning it, and now you have split that boost into 1 day out of 3 massivly diluting my chances of being competitive.
So no I am not really very happy at being royally screwed over, its like booking taking 2 weeks off work, booking a holiday of a lifetime and being told sorry we cant give you that holiday any more during those 2 weeks, but you can have it in a couple of weeks time, EEEERRRRM No i cant move my works holiday, during that time, if you give me the holiday during that time It will be wasted.
This is the same thing!!!! Really what you should have done is given EVERY player who bought a boost the option to use the boost they paid for at a time that was suitable for THEM as thats what they paid for. Or if you cant manage that give them their money back. The boost is one part of the equation having the time available to use it is the other you seem to be totally ignoring.
In a time limited boost such as this time is of the essance.
When you order a meal to be delivered at 6pm on a friday night and it arrives at 3am on sunday morning when you are fast asleep in your bed, you awake to find it freezign cold on your doorstep, and the company say well we delivered it. Would you pay them?
you hire a sports car to be delivered on friday eventing so you can use it all weekend, whilst you are off work. It gets delivered on monday morning, and sits on your drive for 48 hrs not moving as you are working away from home that week. Do you pay ?
you pay for a boost, to run 4 days from monday to friday, you have booked that week off work so you know you will have loads of time to use it. The boost is delieverd a week late when you are back at work, meaning you can only use it for a fraction of the time as you are working 12 hr shifts, with no access to the game whist at work, and you are eating and sleeping most of the time you are actually at home.
Until such a time (as with many other games I have played) you give the ability to start and stop boosts, so if you buy a 1 hr boost you can actually use it at a time that suits you, then time will always be of the essance in these type of transaction. how do you know that those players that bought boosts for the last nomads event are not on holiday now with no access to a computer or the internet.

Completely confused now. I signed off in second with 326K points in Nomads presuming that the event was ending and presuming that I'd done enough for my alliance to win the top 20 rewards. I sign on this lunchtime to find event still running and we've dropped a lot of places. I didn't know there was a problem with the boosts so have no idea whether they worked or not. We can't now work out which of our players were effected and what the impact was. What looked like a good performance is now devalued by the fact a signficant number of players and alliances weren't able achieve the results they should have had rendering the scoring effectively irrelevant. We've now got an extra day to do having burnt resources yesterday thinking the event would end. Essentially because we didn't realise event was continuing we stopped and dropped places as a result. After four days hard work some players and alliances will now miss out.
Technical assistance and system messages relating to faults need to split out within the forum front page and be placed at the top preferably flashing and in red if it's a new fault and you need to send an in-game message to all players to provide the same information to everyone. We also need as much warning as possible to allow us to adjsut our strategies to at least try and remain competitive. Effectively the approach you took has skewed the result. Just isn't possible to close the gaps now on more active players and the guys who couldn't boost have no chance the fact their scores are even competitive is astonishing.

are you talking about the current Nomad event Batten? in which case i think it was always scheduled to run for approx 3 days? starting sat am. so to end up ending tuesday morning ?
In terms of the boosters if was for people who bought boosters in the last nomad event that was supposed to run for 4 days, yet it was aborted in less that 24 hrs so people were sat with a load of nomad boosters and the event was swapped for Green Berri.
The idea was was GGE would activate those outstanding boosters for those people that lost out during last weeks event turning those boosters on at 12 oclock on sat morning shortly after the event started giving players the chance to use them for the duration of the event.
They of course didnt!!!! meaning now players have just a few short hours until the end of the event to use the boosters they paid for. so i will get say 8 hours to use 70+ hrs worth of boosters on. and thats now 2 Events that I paid for boosters on that I have not had chance to use them properly on.
I will be very very interested to see how much GGE value the unuseable 60 + hours of nomad boosters I will not be able to use. I am guessing they will value it as peanuts. Despite the fact it costs a fortune to get them. If they do come up with a silly valuation of the boosts, they as long as they allow me to buy future boosts at that price all good if they dont then its a scam. A cheap scam.

nice, I only buy these kind of boosters during the weekend because I have more time to play then.
So when the event is ending tomorrow morning I had 0,0 hour time to use from the 26 hour booster.
And a again the working players are being punished because of errors in the game.
Hopefully next nomad event will start in the weekend so the remaining 10 hours can be used.

No In game message for me. Just the remaining booster kicked in.
I can only assume that the 50 hrs of bonus will carry over to the next event but would be nice to get some confirmation and not have to rely on telepathy, as i think my recepters must be a bit wonky as i am getting nothing.

1) I purchase approx 170 hours worth of bonus, for use on an event as I have plenty of time available in those next few days, thats a spend of anywhere between £250 and £500 depending on the ruby offer.
2) after just a few hours due to your own programming error you decide to stop the event meaning I cant use the boost for the event i purchased it for in the time period I purchased it for.
3) You write to me to tell me that although I had NOT benefitted from for inadequate programming, and although I had spent time and money gaining a top position in nomads you had decided not to pay out any top prizes.
4) You promised me that my outstanding boosts would carry forward to the next event and would start straight after the Next nomad event started, not ideal far far from ideal as unfortunatly I wouldnt have any where near as much time to make the most of those boosts during that time frame, but at least i would get my 100 Hrs of boosts.
5) You Fail again to deliver on that promise, again through no fault of my own I am left without what i paid for.

From the 26,5 hours I received at 17:00 I only can use maybe 1 hour. When people work during the day, they have to sleep during the night.
So I am wondering when I will receive the in-game message and the compensation.
I hope it will be NOT a few thousand horrors because when I am at work I have no access to the game and they will be dead before I am back home from work. And more soldiers do not make me happy, they only give me food stress. I HATE these kind of soldier compensations.
It feels for me that I am robbed.

Yes on my screen in the nomads screen when it opened up it said the event finished on Sunday. So stupidly I worked towards that. It then seemed to run on for another 18 hours after that. I dovetailed to finish for Sunday evening and had lost defence to atttacks. So couldn't then rebuild fast enough to keep triggering Khan Camp attacks. Shame from my perspective. Clocks for the different events seemed to be out of sync and reading forum I was confused as to when the issues had occured. I clearly missed the last nomads which sound to have had bigger issues. With so many different events running it's difficult to keep up. We had event schedule posted on alliance noticeboard but that was a previous version and out of date so just got very confusing.
