Not sure. They seemed to be well suited. It was Quality Assurance and their "QA Bugwatch" team. I know they were recently hiring a QA person on their careers page, but the post has been recently taken down. I assume they filled the positions.

I want to address this one specifically, and just point out that its almost impossible to not be understaffed in QA and bugwatch when you're working with clunky flash code that's been intermittently added to over the last what like 8 years? by a ton of different people

Its hard enough reading codes from a few weeks of work by 1 other person, let alone several years of work by probably several dozen different people, development just gets super clunky at that point.

Crossing my fingers that the HTML rewrite vastly improves things in almost all areas..

Will GGE change the functionality of the Stronghold's?  
They are consistently changing how much food castles/outposts can hold with this New food base lvl 14...
I've heard that 8 food shiny outposts (currently) can produce 30k food production.  Which means anyone with that capability could hold 10-15k of attackers/defenders.  That is at least 6 different waves of attackers heading in any direction.
I believe the Stronghold is More important than ever to be upgraded to allow a defender the capacity to with stand an onslaught of waves against them.  Plus be battle ready for events such as:  foreigners, crows, khan, samurai, etc...

Firstly, off topic.
Secondly, necromancy.

Thirdly, probably not. Most players have already demo'd their strongholds, because it simply isn't worth the space it takes up (even if maxed out, which costs a stupid amount of rubies). Strongholds also don't provide any defensive bonuses. If anything, the stronghold detracts from a defender's ability to win, as it takes away troops that would otherwise be defending the wall/courtyard and hides them away. Additionally, I fail to understand how it could help players be ready for events.

Due to all its negatives, I see no future for the stronghold. The only way GGS could bring it back into somewhat usefulness was if the PO it gave was waay ramped up, but I do not foresee that happening.

It sounds like the company is doing well. When i look at the maps... there is less and less players. Very discouraging as it almost seems like the green map will be a desert soon.. What is the company doing to obtain more players for the game?  I haven't seen a Good Game Empire commercial or advertisement online for a long time.  Is the company still advertising the game?  If they have plans to terminate the game would be nice to know about so my time isn't invested in a futile attempt to save more & more players.  Lots of player are still fans of the game!

How about drinking beer at GGS? That was enjoyable. Was only in Hamburg for a day, but I've been around Germany and other countries. Just didn't feel you'd all see relevancy in me sharing anything outside GGS related material.
