I do not think that GGS will be returning the event back to the game. As of recent it sounds like GGS will be scrapping the Royal Capital event meaning that it may never be returning back into the back. At first they were saying they are returning it back later after fixing some bugs involved with the event, but now they are thinking about not even returning it back ever. Ironic, isn't it? As much as some of us want it to return back GGS would have to agree to it returning back as well.sir-haba (SKN1) said:

I do wonder why does Goodgame Studios keep royal chests in the armorer if the Royal Capital event will never be coming back and a dead event now? Have they forgotten that the armorer still has royal chests still available for rubies? Nobody in their right mind would buy them if the royal capital is never coming back. I have only bought them with coins, but I have used 60m of coins in them. 15k boosteers I have already lost when my outpost was captured and I lost all the tools from there.
