Brave warriors,
With the end of May, our Great Empire already hails the coming of June. The days get warmer and nature itself raises it's might for the last time before the summer finally begins. Let us take a closer at what we have prepared for you in our next update!
As we already teased in our opening paragraph - the upcoming Spring Nights festival will be the last one this year - as announced previously in our Event schedule, the dates of this event are as follows:
This last iteration of the Spring Nights Festival will run from the 6th of June until the 2nd of July.
We announced the armor set which you can get for this Spring Nights Festival in our March/April Teaser, and it will be the one you got in May; the "Armor of the woodland nymphs", but if you want to take a look at it again, then you can find the stats for it [here].
Part 1
New Prime Day structure: Prime Day Tiers
We are going to introduce a new structure to our Prime Days, specifically for the upcoming FIFA World Cup.The new structure mainly affects boosters which you receive from said Prime Days. They will be divided into certain Tiers which we want to explain to you using the following EXAMPLE:
Tier I: Prime Day with a 200% booster for 2 hours.
Tier II: Prime Day with a 300% booster for 2 hours.
Tier III: Prime Day with a 400% booster for 2 hours.
If you decide to buy one of those Tiers, the chosen Tier will be activated and also shown to you in the game. Those tiered boosters will always run for 2 hours. This means for example that if you happen to buy a Tier I Prime Day Offer, then you will get 2 hours of a 200% booster. If you buy a Tier II Prime Day offer you will get 2 hours of a 300% booster and so on. You will also see a visual notification for that in-game (e.g. Tier II, 300% booster, running for 2 hours). There is a special case though, like if you decide to buy Tier III and after that Tier I again, then you will get 2 hours of a 400% booster and after that 2 hours a 200% booster. The visual notification for the 400% booster will be shown first and after that one ran out the visual notification for the 200% booster will pop up.
This could be a little tricky to understand - so feel free to ask any questions you have about it in the Part 1 Discussion/Questions thread [here]
Once again: the listing of the Tiers is just an example, the exact booster percentages can vary based on what event they are applied for! (Again, eeeexamples)
Stat-Cap-Bug Fix for newly implemented Equipment Sets
We recently encountered that there are some cap-related issues with our newly implemented equipment sets - the effects shown in-game on the equipment sets Regalia of the Nomadic Raider, Armor of the Immortals and Artifacts of the Bloodcrow Caesar are not working out the way we intended. This specifically affected all of the effects which were focused on specific event enemies or enemy camps, for example "+20% combat strength when attacking the courtyard of foreign and Bloodcrow castles" in our Armor of the Immortals equipment set. The cap on this did not function the way we wanted it to be; meaning that it was actually weaker. With the fix that we are implementing, the event specific effects of those sets should be stronger (compared to how they were with the bug) and therefore working the way we planned in the first place. This means that the following effects should work correctly once our fix is implemented:
- Combat strength when attacking the courtyard of foreign and Bloodcrow castles
- Unit limit on the flanks when attacking foreign and Bloodcrow castles
- Moat protection of foreign and Bloodcrow castles
- Combat strength for melee units when attacking foreign and Bloodcrow castles
- Combat strength for ranged units when attacking foreign and Bloodcrow castles
- Combat strength for melee units when attacking Berimond camps and towers during the Battle for Berimond
- Combat strength for ranged units when attacking Berimond camps and towers during the Battle for Berimond
- Unit limit on the flanks when attacking Berimond camps and towers during the Battle for Berimond
- Gallantry points when attacking Berimond camps and towers during the Battle for Berimond
- Combat strength when attacking the courtyard of Berimond camps and towers during the Battle for Berimond
The implementation of the new Prime Day Offers and the Stat-Cap-Bug fix will happen with a smaller update, which will be released on 4th of June 2018.
The Part 1 update will happen between 10:00 AM CEST and 1:00 PM CEST and the downtime for this is expected to be around 30 minutes. Of course, food will be frozen during that downtime. But as always, do not take the aforementioned times as guaranteed, be aware of possible delays due to unforeseen circumstances.
Part 2

New rewards for the Royal Quest
You can win a new decoration in the next royal quest campaign, it is called The Great Twins (PO 320) which symbolizes another Zodiac sign.

New Feature: Global Decoration Inventory
We are going to implement a feature called the Decoration Inventory, where players can store decorations they own, in a global inventory.
The previous "buildings storehouse" Tab in the game will be a button which you can press in order to open the decoration storage. Once you did that you can place the decorations that you selected in the inventory so that they will be stored and can be placed in any one of your castles.
This is a feature which you - the community, have requested many times in the past, so hopefully this highlights again, the fact that your feedback is passed on and listened to by the design team in Goodgame st
The Decoration functions and specifics are as follows:
- The capacity will show you how many decorations you currently have stored and what the overall capacity is.
- You will also be able to select between different filters to help you find what you're looking for.
- The search option will let you search for decorations by typing in their name.
- The decorations will also show their respective grid-size in their description.
- Decorations can only be built in the castle you are currently in.
- Decorations in Outposts are sent back to their original owner after Outpost was conquered.
- Decorations cannot be built or stored in the sieged outpost during the siege time.

We received some feedback in regards to an equipment-bug where "normal" equipment behaves like temporary equipment, which means that it disappears, although it shouldn't.
As we are currently working on a fix for this problem, the Part 1 June update has to be delayed for a bit. We will inform you about the exact timing that our update will be released, when we have more information and as soon as the fix for this bug is done.
Best regards,
Your Empire Family
The Update has been delayed to this Wednesday - the 6th June. It had to be delayed due to some testing issues which lead to a delayed build time unfortunately.
Cheers,
Angus
