March is already in full swing and our next update is right around the corner.
Not only Spring is coming to our Great Empire, but a lot of great content is making it’s way as well!

We’ll have upgrades for some of your buildings ready for you, a new version of our Collector’s event, new tools and more! So let’s take a look at what’s coming in our Update for March 2019:

Upgrades for your Buildings  

This month’s update will implement new upgrades for some of your buildings. Let’s see which buildings will benefit from this:

Relic Barracks

• Your barracks will receive additional upgrades, which means that you’ll be able to upgrade them to level 13 with the help of the well-known upgrade tokens and construction tokens! And you know what that means: new bonuses and new troops! The barracks building will experience a slight design update this time as well. Once you’ve upgraded it to a higher level than 9, the barracks building will look like the following:

Let’s take a look at the two new troops that you’d be able to recruit with this upgrade:

Each additional level for your barracks building will provide you with a higher bonus to both your amount of recruitable troops and recruitment speed. The “Relic hammerman” will be unlocked with barracks level 11 and the “Relic longbowman” will be unlocked with barracks level 13!

This is not the only building which will receive an upgrade, so let’s take a look at the upgrades of your encampment building!

Relic Encampment

• The encampment will also receive some upgrades, with 5 additional levels. Those levels will raise the number of commanders that you’d be able to hold per level. The encampment will also receive a slight design upgrade:

Collector’s Event - Hive Mind

• Our Collector’s Event is back for another round and this time around you’ll have to collect as many bees as you can in the upcoming “Hive Mind”!

• The mechanics will be similar to previous versions of the event (e.g. Carnival of the Phoenix):

• At the beginning of the event, you’ll receive a certain amount of bees .

• Bees can be stolen from enemy players, but they can also be stolen from you vice versa!

• And, of course, troops won’t suffer any losses, as long as they got sent out via the event attack (which will look like the following):

Castle Skins:

Decoration: Goddess of nature

You will be able to receive these rewards for bees, as well as purchase them with rubies. The skins are only cosmetic skins though, which means, that there will be no stats bonuses for them. The new castle skins are permanent, but you can't slot them with gems.

New appearance items

• 2 new appearance construction items will make their way into the game (available through offers for now)

• Tree village barracks

• Tree village hospital

• 1 new look item for the castellan (available in the armorer)

• Metal Mask (no gem slot)

New Glory Banners & Combo Tools

• This month’s update will also provide you with some new additional banners and tools

• There will be 2 new glory banners and 8 new combo tools available for you in the armorer!

• Royal banner: Glory bonus +6%
  Royal shield: Ranged defender strength reduced by 15%, glory bonus +6%
  Royal ram: Castle gate protection of defenders reduced by 20%, glory bonus +6%
  Royal bridge: Castle moat protection of defenders reduced by 15%, glory bonus +6%
  Royal ladder: Castle wall protection reduced by 20%, glory bonus +6%
  King’s banner: Glory bonus +8%
  King’s shield: Ranged defender strength reduced by 15%, glory bonus +8%
  King’s ram: Castle gate protection of defenders reduced by 20%, glory bonus +8%
  King’s bridge: Castle moat protection of defenders reduced by 15%, glory bonus +8%
  King’s ladder: Castle wall protection reduced by 20%, glory bonus +8%

Wheel of Fortune Reward Adjustment

• We’ll also adjust some of our Wheel of Fortune rewards!

• This update will adjust some of the activity rewards, as well as both the Jackpot rewards (“Normal” and “Hard)

• Let’s give you a quick example of those adjustments and what those rewards will look like for the activity rewards:

New Bakery Construction Items

• Our Bakery will also receive a small upgrade in the form of new bakery construction items.

• These will range from level 11 to level 15 and will provide you with an additional food storage bonus!

• Let’s give you a quick overview for levels 11 to 15 of these construction items

Reintroduction of the Shapeshifter castellan

• The long-awaited Shapeshifter castellan will finally make his way with all of the 3 announced versions of the set in this month’s update!

The plan is to release this update next week. We will start with the update procedure early in the morning between 9:00 CET and 13:00 CET. The downtime is expected to be around 30-60 minutes long. Of course, food consumption and booster times will be frozen during the longer downtime. But as always, do not take these times as guaranteed, as delays due to unforeseen circumstances can occur.
