Dear Community,
you have made it - the new kindoms are opening their doors. For several weeks we have posted small announcements to give you a good look at what's to come. Instead of a "normal" changelog we are concluding the past 5 parts of the New Kingdoms introductions for you, so you have it all at one glance.
[The new kingdoms- Part I]
New Kingdoms will be introduced ready to be conquered by you soon. Until then we will keep you updated on anything new and important about this huge Empire Update.
In our first part we want to show you the big world map from where you will be able to explore the new kingdoms.
[The new kingdoms- Part II] - Conquer new worlds!
How can I enter the new kingdoms?
For every kingdom you need a certain minimum level. For the first new one you will have to be level 20+ (the exact level barrier hasn’t been defined yet). Furthermore you will need a certain amount of resources to be able to travel.
Am I going to be alone on the new map?
No, not at all! The conquest of the kingdoms will be a multiplayer feature in which all players of the server can participate (if they fulfill the requirements, level, resources, etc.)
What am I going to be able to build in the new kingdoms?
In every new castle you’ll be able to build basically everything you know from the outposts of the “old world”. Additionally there will be more, special buildings that will be available only in certain kingdoms.
What is going to happen to my old castle?
Castles in the “old world” are not going to be changed and will continue being a very important feature of the game!
Can I send resources and troops to the new kingdom and back afterwards?
You’ll be able to send resources and troops from one kingdom to the other, but the journey will take some time and won’t be cheap.[/I]
Can I get honor and glory points in the new kingdoms?
Glory and honor are global features and can be gained (and lost) everywhere.
Can I capture outposts in the new kingdoms?
Instead of outposts there is going to be a new system to raise the amount of resources.
[The new kingdoms- Part III] - The Resource villages
What is a resource village?
The resource villages are distributed all over the worldmap. Every village stands for one kind of resource, such as wood, stone or food.
You can occupy those with your troops.
What benefits do I receive from capturing them?
If you capture one resource village your production of the fitting resource will significantly increase.
Why do I have to capture those villages?
The natural conditions in the new kingdoms are very rough.Icy Ground and hot desert sand only offer limited possibilities to gain resources.
The option to send resources from the "old world" to the new kingdoms is going to be expensive, too.
Therefore you are well advised to increase your production with the villages.
Do I have to defend my villages?
Oh, Yeah! Other players resource villages can be captured at any time. Other than with the outposts you do not need a castellan! A normal attack is enough.
Of course you are able to send as much troops in the village as you want and you are able to defend with weapons, too.
Will I be able to build something in the resource villages?
Other than ouposts, resource villages are only "markers" on the map. You are unable to build there!
As a compensatory you are able to have a lot more of them and it is not as bad as before, if you lose one to another player.
Will there be a limit?
You need a special building to be able to capture resource villages. But theoretically you are able to as many of them as you want. But beware!
You should be able to defend them.
Will I win/lose honor with the battle to villages?
There is no honor involved at the capturing of outposts and resource villages. You are only able to gain honor with the attack from other players.
[The new kingdoms - Part IV] - New characters & NPCs
This week we would like to present you the new characters.
There are arising new threats right in the eastern firesummits. But we will not reveal those for now.

This will be the final part of our trip through the new kingdoms
and we want to introduce you to the eastern firesummits!
Players level 55 have to compete against the mysterious mistress of the dragon cultists
and try to prevent that colossal dragons attack our empire!

[The new kingdoms - Part IV] - New characters & NPCs
This week we would like to present you the new characters.
The Herold of the emperor will significantly support you with your campaigns in the new Kingdoms.
He will inform you about the progress of war and will instantly forward the rulers commands.
But the Emperor does not justdemand your support, but also provides generous rewards for those who help him.
These dreaded Northmen live on the everwinter glacier in the northern Kingdom.
These Barbarians like to attack adjacent kingdoms and some of you may know them from the winter event.
The desert people are living deep in the south,amidst of the burning sun.
You will meet those tough fighter in the second Kingdom.
There are arising new threats right in the eastern firesummits. But we will not reveal those for now.
- All of the fractions do have their own troops, that you have to fight against.
- You can find the known robber baron castles in the Kingdoms, but also large fortresses that you have to defeat.
- Other than the with the robber baron castles, the large fortresses have a golbal cooldown. If one player defeats them, nobody is able to attack them for a certain time.
- The assaults are started from these fortresses. All of you can prevent them from attacking sorrounding castles by defeading them regularly.

This will be the final part of our trip through the new kingdoms
and we want to introduce you to the eastern firesummits!
